First you said it charges up and under an hour, but then you said by solar it takes about 11 hours to charge up so how do you set it up to charge in an hour clearly not with the solar panel plug-in but… What?

@@dorenem8532 with wall plug it will charge in about an hour, with the full 500 watts of solar it will take 2-3 hours, if you plug it in using the cigarette style charger it will take around 11 hours.

@ Ok, but there isn’t a wall socket in a van (I am converting (no build-type build). So charging off the lighter outlet you have to have the van driving on a freeway to charge it?? Is that correct? Also, that was just a fan right not an air conditioner or anything just a little fan and that was all you could run at one time off that battery that’s pretty depressing. I bought the BLUETTI Solar Generator EB3A with 100W Solar Panel. I was hoping to run a few things off of it like phone, ipad, tiny fan, little 600 watt induction burner. If the 100 w solar useless if no wall socket is available. Few bakeries and coffee shops are offering outlets for customers any more

So that was a heater I was running, its a very power demanding one for demonstration. If you are doing a van conversion, etc and are looking for the best charging solution I recommend a DC to DC Charger for maximum efficiency. There are few chargers on the market and Bluetti has a very nice 1kw hour one that I will be reviewing soon.

I’m sorry but these “installation” videos aren’t any good. As someone who hasn’t wired any lights previously people need to know where the wires get connected. And not from 5 feet away from the vehicle. Like, up-close to the actual connection. How would anyone like it if computer instructions were just as vague. Oh yeah, just connect that there and start push the button and it’s all good 😆👍🤦🏻‍♂️

Thank you for the clear instructions for the 800w alternator charger. I have a 2022 F250 Diesel with a 220w alternator. Your steps will be easy to follow ( I think, haha). I'm an old retired school teacher who loves a challenge. I'm just waiting for the price to come down just a tad more. It's now $400 and with a 5% military discount. Every bit helps. I think you are the best out there so far. Two other videos said also not to connect the "negative" cable to the negative part of battery but to the ground like you did. That's comforting to know. Again, thank you. Cely in Cocoa Beach, Florida

The size, light-weight, water-resistance, durability to being dropped, Usb C capabilities, and digital capacity read-out, look to be some nice attributes 👍. Currently been running (since 2021) a couple of slim Anker units (very similar to what you showed) when camping, for phone charging. Good devices with decent mAh capacity (26800 & 20000), however, they don't have a Usb C feature, no digital read-out, and they have a little bit of weight to them.

Nice video. I recently installed the EcoFlow 800W charger as well on my 2024 PW (video on my channel). It works great. I ran my cable a different way through my firewall and sealed it with a PG21 corded strain relief and some black RTV sealant but still ended up underneath the driver side seat similar to your setup. My PW has the dual alternator option that puts out 380A so plenty of juice to run the charger and everything else.
