I agree but, I think this change is justified because unlike Tf 1 you were a standard soldier, in Tf 2 you are a mercenary. after the destruction of Demeter and that both sides had spent many resources, they resorted to the use of mercenaries to fill their ranks, that's why in the multiplayer there are "factions", they are the clients that hired you for that specific mission, that's also why you can change of faction without there being a discrepancy. you are someone who was paid and treated as such, an example is the dialogue of Sarah Briggs when you are on a roll; "hire the right guy", or with Ash saying "Binson Dynamics appreciates your cooperation". Just as in Tf1 you could feel like a real soldier, in Tf2 you still feel like a simple mercenary, and how you customize your pilot and titan feel like that. your suit and weapon skin are flashy, your titan is painted and etched with grafiti (probably painted by you) and you try to fight for pay.

@@eldevastador6271 There's plenty of evidence pointing towards the fact that you play (or at least can headcanon you're playing as) a mercenary Titan Pilot in TF|1. Hell, the tutorial _alone_ is enough evidence.

My thoughts exactly. Titanfall one just felt more customizable on all fronts compared to Titanfall 2. The only thing Titanfall 2 got right imo was the campaign.

i mean i dont think anyone want to see a northstar (skinny titan) wields a predator cannon (a huge gattling gun)

If titanfall 3 is ever made I want Vanguard to be in multiplayer

@@04cassius-jake not necessarily, you could have in theory Frontier defense like games where you have a squad of Player controlled Vanguards against hordes of titans

@@kirayamato6671 go play monarch arc rounds and superior chasis the other one doesnt matter playf but i think you can beat bt with it since arc rounds dont go off like bt and if you add the other titans to bt then you should do the same to monarch bc i think she can carry those but theres none in multiplayer maps

I was playing it the other day and it doesn’t hold up well compared to TF2. Everything is so much refined in TF2 plus TF1 had its fair share of unbalanced stuff. I absolutely loved TF1. Have like 40 days played on it.. but it’s like going back to okay golden eye on the N64. It was great for its time
