You can remote play ps and xbox with the rog ally, even then most of the games on those systems are playable on pc, but its all preference

As legion go owner letting shaidders load is all the difference especially on first load ups I noticed cod ww took significantly longer to complete and run smoothly but bo6 runs without even shaidders complete on the legion go

If it works like Windows, go to control panel > system > Power Options and switch everything to your preferred settings. If you don't want the screen to turn off unless you say so, switch the power options of your Windows to Never.

Yea, the best thing you can do is upgrade the SSD to 2TB. I got the TEAMGROUP MP44S SSD (2TB) for $130, and it works just fine.

a bunch of comments saying shouldve got the ally x lolol....learn what pc parts are. the x has a bigger battery and upgraded memory.....go ahead and look up if either makes or breaks gaming.......if you want the latest then spend the 700 on the x....if you want roughly the same performance besides battery...save a few hundred and buy the ally z1 extreme OG

More RAM (24GB vs 16GB) 2280 M.2 SSD which is cheaper than the smaller 2230 M.2 SSD Dual usb type C ports with thunderbolt 4 Usable microSD card meaning additional 1TB-1.5TB of storage Better thermals Better ergonomics Better d-pads and triggers. ROG ALLY X is more than what you think.

@@fightnight14 agree with most of that but you can fit a 2280 ssd into an original rog ally and the ergonomics are better on the X but when you put them to real world test the X is only getting a few extra frames and isn’t worth the extra money

@ek3jay828 but the lack of micro sd expansion will make you upgrade the ssd to 2TB which is $200 more. The total price is almost the rog ally x. The total package is still worth getting the X when on sale

Why buy the ally when the ally x is available now?? Makes no sense, and the regular ally has SO many issues that have been fixed on the X. If you lack basic common sense when it comes to buying tech this channel is doomed for sure 🤦🏼‍♂️

The ally x is definitely better, but its also almost 2x the price for mostly the same performance. if you dont care about extra battery or the sd card slot working its not really necessary. (i have an x)

@@gtrscort1 uhm no🤡 the only thing they changed on the originally ally was the SD card issue which isn’t even what I’m talking about. The larger battery, tighter joysticks, FASTER ram and the ability to have 8GB vram and a full 16GB for system memory are all improvements especially when using it for cod. If youve ever played cod you’d know 8/16 is the normal bare minimum for a playable experience unless you’re against absolute bots.. None of these were addressed on the regular ally 🤦🏼‍♂️

Lol if you fixed how loud the game is vs your voice via make it louder or something or turning down the game other than that this game mode has been one of my favorites other than alpha squad
