solar panel plus electric trolling motor for the canoes, get those gas engine kits for the bikes. itll take a quarter of the time and you wont be nearly as bruised up and tired. both of these can be done with a couple tools and no sawing. youd only need a drill at most and you can buy hand drills for dirt cheap if money is an issue.

Why did you say that you couldn’t share more things that you love about your van but that you couldn’t because you are “only allowed to have 10 things”? Who is limiting the number of things that you can share…?

I'm using a snowboard bag across the bed at the back doors to keep the pillows from falling out. It's longer than the opening. It holds extra bedding and coats and doubles as a flexible cushion to lean against (easily movable around all three walls). I got one on amazon for very little money, and it's graffiti patterned (with light/bright blue sharks!).

Lol the tide swings here everyday regardless of the time of year. Later on the season the river gets to high an covers the pools. Reminder the pools are on private land, keep it clean or the tubs are being removed by land owners.

I use a heated blanket through out the night on its lowest setting 40watts . I only crank it up to full (120watts) when pre heating the blanket and bed for 10-15 minutes. When pre heating I start my dinner and cooking usually soup and hot tea. I did this living in the mountains at 10k feet avg temp 5 degrees to -6. Only issue I had is batteries in bluettie won’t charge and would need to bring into indoors and charge (8hours) friends house or at work during my shift . Water of course will be frozen so will have to fill a gallon water jug for the night . I actually loved every moment of it and can’t wait to do it this winter . I will post a video on my winter routine

Thats awesome!! My van definitely has been struggling with the cold, its been getting to around -2 lately and its been hard to get the van started because of how cold it is! Plugging it in helps though. If i got a heated blanket or a diesel heater the nights would be a lot more doable.
@charlesb4267
@charlesb4267 2 жыл бұрын
@@marcianastasia5564 Marci, I am assuming that is the diesel ( you have probably said before ) since you are having issues starting it at the freezing point. I was wondering if you have had the glow plug system checked out in case either one or more glow plugs have failed or the solenoid that powers them or other issues with the electronics controlling the system. In most diesels that have glow plugs, they typically really rely on them to start if its cool at all so if they are not working it becomes impossible to start although as you mentioned plugging in the block heater will certainly help a lot although I have engines on the farm which still won't start unless those glow plugs are working. Also you need good batteries, good battery cable connections, diesel fuel that isn't starting to gel due to it being summer grade and attempting to use it during the winter, even the engine oil viscosity for the colder temps. If the glow plugs are actually functioning as it gets colder one has to cycle the key more then once to activate them and build heat in the cylinders before even attempting to crank the engine over. I'd be curious what you find out if you do some checking on your van ( armed with some knowledge and a volt meter I expect you would be able to test to see if power is getting to them with the help of someone to cycle the key while the meter lead is on a glow plug and the other lead on a known ground ). Apparently there are a few known issues within that system on those vans that are known to fail, if it can be sorted out without going to the "stealership" that is the question !. Of course now you will inform me its a gas engine .... LOL.

I'll watch the rest of the video just because, but anyone that detests grapefruit is just wrong. White grapefruits are my favorite because they are the strongest. If you peel off all the membrane, that's where the bitterness you don't like is. Just segment it like an orange, pinch and rip off the narrow inside and that's your starting point to rip it all away.

@@marcianastasia5564 Yeah, it's not as exaggerated as when it's spelled that way, but it's definitely different that in the U.S. where the emphasis is on "out" ("owt"). We had a Canadian family live with us for about six months back some 15 years ago, and I picked up on it then. I guess it's more like "aboat". It's the one way I can tell an English speaker from Canada from one in the U.S.

Like the new name. Old name was cool too and kind of catchy. Love your channel. I don't think your old name interferes with your channel success at all. Look at Mr. Beast, that's an odd name and he's very successful. Unusual names stick with people. Either way you do you and the people will come. I Hope your van gets fixed without too much cost.
