We did this back in the 70's. I had a YZ360 fixed up. It would scream. I loved riding 2-steokes! Wide open is best. The trick is knowing the places they cant follow and hiding spots they don't expect to turn them. Running like a rabbit. Back tracking on them is a SAVE it until you need it trick. It only works if they dont see it coming!

It doesnt look like it has its full power. Full power (32hp) is at 11500rpm and it will rev very quickly to that point snd beyond, if it would be completely unrestricted.i It should rev like this one kzbin.info/www/bejne/a6vFc396YsubhLc It has the same rotax 123 engine, exhaust manifold and 34mm carburator

This is a worn off piston. The decay in performance was very noticeable with an old piston, especially with the lightweight single segment ring ones.

@@perpsen what!? That was not even close to 11000. Power is rpm × torque. You can also have full throttle at 5000rpm, but that doesnt mean that you have full power at 5000rpm.

@@G.J.G.P. there are not many moments in this video where he give full throttle ... you can see and hear it and for 160kph you need full power (30ps) 1:12 you can see it good.(he give bit more throttle) 2:12 thats full throttle and the acceleratiom is normal full power

beautiful looking litle bikes, any of you ever see the 1995 All Silver one with the illuminous Orange seat? that was the object of my affection for years, was so close to getting one. Glad i didn'#t. Sounded like a biscuit tin. Now looking back, i wouldn't buy any bike with a 2 stroke engine. If you're getting one, get an RS250 with the 4 stroke and the fatter exhaust. Still looks nice.
