To this day, I still say "Toooooo Another Plaaaaace!" when leaving a voice channel, or otherwise signing off from something. That phrase is locked into my head for eternity.

All notes I have for this fight: Start (100,000 HP): All is normal (Fight the Blood Shadows, the 6 Spiders and then Marty) After 90,000 HP: Blood Shadows start using Blood Bond After 75,000-ish HP: Blood Shadows start using Damage Reflect and Tricky Rick shows up After 45,000 (The Second Phase): Marty skips the introduction for the Blood Shadows phase, Blood Shadows instantly KO you when defeated, Tricky Rick has a chance to attack twice, and Marty starts draining your stats. 40,000-35,000 HP: Marty will continuously chant his "Grow the garden of pain" spiel before you fight him if you exhausted all of his dialogue before. Scared can be applied to Blood Shadows. Tricky Rick can get the pissed effect and will deal 0 damage to you. Weird and Oiled Up can be applied to Marty. If you take out all of the Sacs while fighting Marty, then you will skip the Spider phase next time you start an assault. You can survive the Blood Shadow's instant KO move if you have someone guard beforehand. Instead of taking all of your HP, it will only do half of the damage. I discovered this accidentally. Maddog can leave your party during the nightmare sequence before fighting with Marty. This most likely happens if you unlocked his campfire cutscene beforehand. I never saw the Terry or Maddog creature before because I never went to the left of Brad's house. I have beaten Marty 3 times. Never seeing them was the most painful thing out of all of this. Originally I had a longer comment but it didn't post for some reason, so here is the simplified version.

I think I have a good idea on how this is unlocked (Someone on Steam found this out, so I'm relying it here). - You need to keep both arms - Use Joy... a LOT. - Apparently pick options the kill your teammates? (That's what a person on steam said.) - Have Maddog (Obviously) From my own discovery, you will know you have taken enough joy (or completed all of the steps) when the Marty Spiders' theme from the Devil's Bath House is changed to Soft Skin (Joy Mutant battle theme). My choices before unlocking this (Aside from arms): - Let the Gents kidnap Terry - Kill Rick and Sticky - Kill 3 party members over Buddy's nipple New thing I found out after doing this: Maddog will leave your party before the fight against the secret super boss. He does this as soon as you enter the room before the fight. This never happened in my joyless runs, but I also never used him in those either.

At no point does Clint address the fact that Peter is going to try and ruin his image. He just hears "blonde = smart" and instantly gets lost in his own head. The mention of hawk and vega also makes me wonder how many more participants there are in this apoclyptic handsomness competition.

@@Warlord4Hikage IDK I though Definitive Edition was fine. It could have been a lot more but I respect that it just tried to remake the game and add some fun side-content (even if the Unity engine doesn't like to work very well).

@@obscuregamesshowcase Adding campfire stuff is maybe a good idea, like for example Buckets who spend your mags in casino or where he spend them, but scenes like Mad Dog or this - it's just pushing away.

I honestly thought that the scenes where Buckets gambles or Goose kills butchers a man are the least impressive campfire scenes, while something like Mad Dog or Terry's scenes are the most impressive. They add a lot more personality or at least explanation to some of the characters imo. Most of the Painful additions were cool, although Joyful still kinda sucks and maybe even got worse in Definitive.

I love this cut ending, it really should have been included. Its the perfect "You Fucked up" ending, and really shows the Power of the Think Tank. There's a good reason Ulysses called them "Gods of the Big Empty", and why Mobius spent two centuries trapping those madmen where they couldn't hurt anyone. They're as dangerous as any other Fallout Big Bads - The Master, The Enclave, The Calculator, Victor Presper, Caesar, The Institute, the Scorched, etc. Possibly even more dangerous. They're Mad Gods who would tinker and prod with the human race and planet Earth for shits and giggles, and once fully unleashed, they might be unstoppable.
