Orange and purple are contrasting colors. This is a color technique where colors opposite on the color-wheel make each other "pop" more. From a design perspective I stand behind the decision. But I agree its kind of pointless in its execution with how little it is, might as well be invisible.

i dont necessarily have a problem with caps suits being armoured and padded, because it can be like "he doesn't need it but what can go wrong with some extra protection?". but the way i see it, him not needing armour and padding because he is already durable as hell is beneficial for being his most lightweight, agile, flexible, and fast.

An annoying problem with the counter earth suit, that i doubt they ever fixed, was that sometimes the mask would just disappear and you'd have to reload the game for it to reappear

I think the blue and purple mix well together to create a techy futuristic look without taking things obnoxiously too far. ridiculous how stupid people are that don't realize that not having 100% physics based web swinging momentum, acceleration, direction should all be in the player's control the fantasy of web swinging is control, and stupid animation based swinging canceling momentum, dictating how/when loops and direction changes should be made should be on the assisted mode the priority should be to have a traversal system realizing the power by having a higher skill floor/ceiling in general

Not gonna lie, playing this game solo in 2024 with all the cosmetics and dlc unlocked is actually pretty fun. It’s still got its flaws, but I can find enjoyment in it.

I feel like the team up’s adds a team combo with most champs that DONT have an inherent combo together, Which I think is a good thing, that allows more diverse team comps while having combos together, rather than stacking 3 tanks because they call all stun enemies for example.

An interesting idea could have been Venom converting the entire world into symbiotes not just because "I'm evil ah ha!", but because Knull is awakening and will come to Earth because (insert plot for SM3 Here). So Venom, in a desperate attempt to save not just his entire race but life in the universe, is willing to effectively sacrifice the entire Earth to create an army to stop Knull.

I'm curious, your criticisms on everyone's Midnight Suns team outfits seem largely about how they look individually, but does the context of having them all together at once change anything about that opinion? I think they all look really cool if they're all together, but maybe I'm just weird because I like gold and I like making characters look wildly different than normal.

when it comes to this game's outfit and costume problems, at the very most they're not even half way accurate, and at the very least, they're fucking ugly.

i would've preferred this game without the cards. like a normal turn-based RPG

I really do like Boss Witch and I get IF your theory is right about them pivoting from the casual look to something closer to comics and MCU canon (at the time) cause both the default and the Boss witch skin is really fun, just wished it was her casual outfit instead than the blue hoodie. I do agree with you about them not doing Nico justice, even if they were gonna do a stereotypical mish mash of goth styles I wouldn't have minded but hers is the weakest. I mean do like her hair but the rest of it isnt it for me.

The all new and the black widow inspired suits were my personal favorites in the game and were default suit I wore throughout the game especially the black widow inspired one during the dlc

The secret wars suit gets adapted a little because it’s called secret war. If it wasn’t called secret war or if there was an actually good suit. It wouldn’t be in video games. I don’t like the suit over all but it takes so many risks i appreciate it.

I think toes look bad on venom. The toes imply that Edie doesn’t wear shoes. It’s fine on carnage because they don’t let crazy people wear shoes.
