I can't believe I've been a fan of this guy for the last fifteen years because of his looks! I've never heard any of his speeches. What a shame. I live in a country where books are overtaxed for being a superfluous item. As an arts teacher (drawing and painting) I can hope for two minimum wages (Brazilian minimum wage - 193 pounds) and little more, until I get work in a federal University. Then it goes to four. Would England lend us him, just for a few months?

Dietcokedeviant! This has absolutely nothing to do with tories getting their sons jobs- ?! It's about a massive proportion of society being stunted and starved of there right to learn and having access to the enlightenment of art because they're poor or don't live in London- You have completely missed the point- plus Sam has carved his own route into the industry and proven his immense ability as a performer and activist time and time again without the help of his parents. Why don't you stop wi

wow. fantastic. Wish I'd seen this.. we turned up too late for speeches I think.. really glad this kind of speechmaking happened though, I felt the need for something like it on the march and didn't get it unfortunately.. wish they'd done it all a bit later! But THANKYOU Helent5114 for sharing this. wish the people in the foreground would be quiet too! :P I agree, everyone make this VIRAL, its a very important message put across very emphatically. Gotta love Prince Caspian :)

Right so when posh Tories help their sons get jobs it is evil nepotism but when Mr Ginger's parents open all the doors into acting, he is a great man??

Everyone should send this to their friends, like it, favourite it, whatever - if this went viral it could actually make a difference. It's an amazing speech!

This is a truly inspirational speech - spot on all the way. Pity this government refuse to listen to anyone who actually makes sense.

Civil Unrest, rallies, riots, people fighting for their jobs and a right to a decent lifestyle. Broken promises and the public being ignored unless they have a vast amount of money. I wonder which government is in charge?

@PublicEnquiry Hi, Sam is an actor/director/activist. Also son of Prunella Scales and Timothy West. He's a great bloke and it was brilliant to see him up there speaking. You're welcome!
