Is the ATP as efficient? And comparable to the ATR 72 as well as the 42? Honest questions, I’m quite impressed from what little bit I’ve seen of the ATP. Seems like a beast of a machine, looks like a pilot’s type of plane. Enough tech to help but not so much that you’re flying a computer.

@@iamra_n3189 The ATR beats it in most aspects (it's lighter, despite carrying more passengers, and faster despite less powerful engines and smaller props), but it's hard to make a direct comparison as the ATR has been constantly upgraded in refined in numerous variants over time, so it's like comparing an A320neo to a 737 Classic. That said, ATR had the backing and help of Airbus and far more resources than BAE had at their disposal - plus the ATP is essentially just a modernised jetstream rather than an all-new clean sheet design like the ATR. Ultimately the real enemy was that BAe just weren't interested in the passenger market. The government was trying to privatise the company - there was no money, no vision and no appreciation of the engineering talent the company possessed.

PilotCalle is 28 too old to start? I’ve heard mixed reviews that that’s consider old for international airlines. What about cargo? I had a career switch from GIS to this so that’s kinda why I started late :(.

Joshua Monsanto Should be no problems. I knew couple of friends who attended flight school older than 35. So 28 just perfect 👍🏽

Hi! It's exactly the same flight training as for a pilot flying passenger. I got the offer from a cargo airline and it's a perfect first job.

I recommend that you improve your English before you do any further training.

Lol for UPS? Have a 4.0 gpa at harvard. Know 50 pilots that work there and have recs from all of them. Be the ceos son. Have 12,000 hours at a 121. Be a member of woman in aviation even though you arent a woman. Volunteer your time off from said 121 job. Have the correct last name. If you have that, the job is yours. Maybe.

if you're in flight school right now......dont count on working for UPS.
