They aren't made anymore, original designer is a creative old dude who just plays around with ideas and never succeeds in mass production. There are augers that come on removalist trolleys with a 2 way locking chain to move auger up and down(or a lifting trolley minus the pallet for a auger). I think the brand was tanka, I've only seen Australians and Indians use them.

I would love to get one of these. My son dislocated his shoulder, and sprained his wrist bad. I'd love to get our fences finished. These auger posts been on youtube for 5 years now and are not for sale anywhere. People could be making lots of money because most of us homeowners are not buying full sized tractors to do their fences. I have an auger I have a riding lawn mower. Getting the attachment would be prudent. Since we move fences a lot it would be great to own one.

is the orientation #3 or #4? the website states #4 for this device, but the video seems like #3. also, is possible to switch between #3 and #4? thanks!

You can switch between orientation #3 and #4 easily with the ZLA. The bottle stop that you put the bottom of the container on is swappable from one side to the other very easily. All you'd need to do is rotate the bottle one way or the other to match how the label comes out. Hope this helps.

Does this thing help with issue when we hit a root or object with my cordless auger it violently jerks my arm/wrist..i usually donthave anyone to help,,dont want to buy auger for tractor if i can help it,,what does this thing cost..i have a 40 volt cordless home depot ryobi auger with 6 inch bit,,,it digs great until it hits a root and then i end up with arm and wrist issues,,have 2 acres i need to fence in asap

What about the concave side?

The ZL5 and ZL8 can easily label the concave side of a flask or other type of container. As long as the labels are oriented ‘left edge leading’ the label will come off in such a way that the rubber roller will press the label into the recessed area of the container. It’s the exact same application for both convex and concave sides.

Not this model. Our ZL5 and ZL8 will label square, faceted or flat containers easily. We are working on a semi automatic square bottle Labeler based on our ZLA+ mode that should be available in the next month.

What if the bottle is light - an empty plastic bottle? Does the label affix smoothly? I've seen other labels with spring-loaded arms that hold the bottle in place.

Light plastic bottles shouldn't have any issues being labeled without the addition of our 'weighted roller attachment'. The way the label material routes, it pulls the container down in between two rollers keeping a tight application. In the off chance you do need it for whatever reason, we do sell the attachment for $49. Hope this helps! -Dave

This model will do that just fine. With this method of application even. You would just have to get your labels printed out on the roll as you'd like them spaced on the container.

This labeler is descent. If your tube or bottle has a slight taper then you are hosed as you will not get consistency. Straight edge tubes worked just fine.

Thats correct. The applicators will apply labels with a slight spiral on it if the container has a taper.

You can use either orientation #3 (right side leading) or orientation #4 (left side leading). The bottle stop is switchable from one side to the other enabling this unit to have the unwind direction to be either.

how long is the cord for the button?

The cord from the labeler to the switch box is about 10 inches and the cord from the switch box to the button switch is about 3 feet. Hope this helps.

It sure does! That being said, I'd recommend that you start the label on the broad side of the tube instead of the narrow end.

Our ZL5 and ZL8 applicators can label 1, 2, 3 or all 4 sides of a square container. It can label faceted hex jars as well. It's just a matter of how the container is handled during the application process. Hope this helps.

It’s good for as few or as many labels as you’d like. You’d just need a minimum of approximately 2 feet of label material to make it work. Once an order is placed from our website, we send out instructional video emails. Hope this helps!

Good questions! The answer is that your labels should be on a 3" core with the labels on the outside of the roll. At the bottom of our website there is a link to our 'Product Information Sheet', it goes over the specific measurements and all that. Look on the second page. Secondly, our label orientation chart that talks about how the labels need to be on the roll for them to work with our machine. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help! Dave
