1.8 amps? can i just hook up my dewalt drill to it to make it better?

Fantastic video. I would recommend covering testing the capacitance of the capacitor with a digital multimeter as well. A lot of digital meters come with capacitance testing functions now.

Clip design to hold sand paper is horrible. Waste of time and money. I have to change the paper every three time of use. And I know is not me because I had to call an woodworking expert and when I mentioned he right away told me the system has a flaw. But anyway he installed new san paper and there you go. 10 passes of wood and the sand paper rips. I have two of this machines on my shop and both has the same problem

NIce job!! What is a DeWalt sander doing in a Grizzly shop??
@missingthe80s58Ай бұрын
I needed this! My band saw took a dump while cutting a bar of 12L14. I suspected the cap. Melted! Dropped in a new one and went to work. 90 seconds later, a pop from the capacitor cover and magic blue smoke comes out. Thinking about the problem while machining a block it dawns on me that I'm not hearing a click and I bet it's a switch. Bread crumb trail of clues lead here. I'll follow up.

EVERY caliper should have the magnetic charge feature and a lithium battery; those mickey mouse little coin cells suck. The OLED screen will have to see over time if that is a good idea.

Somebody is following me. I was just looking at this lathe on website this morning. Nice but a bit pricey for me
@agomodern2 ай бұрын
When you cut a miter it sure looked like it had a lot of drift. Cut was very wavy. Throughout the video it looked like the blade was going side to side.

This video isn't even showing the right way to do it. There is a tension plate and clip that you preload on the left side. Read the manual. You only tape the right. Grizzly should be embarrassed to put this out. They don't even talk about pre cutting the necessary angles in the paper.

All our lathes are between $3K and $8K... except this one... $13K shipped... Oh wait... no DRO and 3-phase. Outboard spider also not listed. Kinda feels like showing this lathe is... let's just say "misguided".

How about making this press a 1 single phase machine, we need a single not 3 ph
@eyesonlybobАй бұрын
Doesn't require three phase power - it runs on 120V. The three phase motor is controlled by a VFD to get variable speed.

Got mine. A couple of comments. Received with router mount loose. Bolts not even finger tight. After router tightened in, noted that tolerances on cuts was terrible. Could wiggle router in lift. Better after loose bolts discovered and tightened. Accuracy still limited by the router motor you use. Also, got the free sliding miter and it’s not perpendicular to tabletop. Still messing with it. I used six playing cards to shim it to square it up. Will likely disassemble and bent it into proper shape. A bit disappointing for an $1800 router table add on.
