You can tell they're having so much fun just making music together - perfectly encapsulates the meaning of the song

Just to add something positive to this comment section: I really love the performances of this gig, bass has an awesome sound, so does the tenor. Actually, they all do.

Are there barbershop tenors with better voices than Tim Broersma? Yes. But Tim Broersma will always be the voice that best exemplifies what a barbershop tenor is supposed to sound like. The perfect strong countertenor with otherworldly blend.
@TeraFormPrime5 жыл бұрын
Indeed, Tim is an underrated, best (or on of the best) tenor in the society

Not of the tenor's excessive grace notes but he's talented and adds a lot to this performance, and that's what matters

The take should be a tehk because the song is Scottish, for there should be a Scottish accent to the song. Amazing rendition though

That was beautiful, Gentlemen! Thank you Julie Deeter for posting this. It brings back memories of when Daddy and his Barbershop chorus used to sing this. What a great version, Realtime!

Terrible rendition of this song great song though
@TheBlueDevilz11 жыл бұрын
Respectfully disagree. I thought it was a very creative, smooth tag, but OC Times' rendition is my preferred choice for this number given their volume and pitch at the very end. Then again, the audio quality in this video doesn't do these men much justice. Still a great version.

how 'bout that last third by Mark at the end? Whether he's singing Irish Rose or a high A, the guy looks just as calm. That's just really-high-level presentation right there.

I got the priviledge to see/hear them in Indy at the International BHS contest. I'll never take anything from them, as they are masters of their craft - evidenced by the gold medals they won. But as singers, we always compliment the singers, and seemingly miss the arrangers and song writers. The arrangement fit them to a tee, and without the arrangement, they wouldn't have recorded this song. Keep it going Realtime!
