That's so nice that you found a secluded beach there 😍 I like those small coves a lot more than the large busy beaches! As for Spetses, I thought about visiting back in the day, but went to Poros instead

The only thing I knew about Tinos before seeing your posts was that story of the pilgrims crawling from the port. I was told that it wasn't a fun island to visit, but your content of Tinos changed my image of it in a positive way! And good that you're also honest about the things that you didn't like 👍

@sjaakjanssen2009 are you talking about the sunset bar? 5 small shrimps were 16 euros 😬 but let me clarify. When I say expensive or overpaid I am comparing to prices in let's say Athens which is already quite expensive. Everything is relative ad depends on where you are coming from and what's your buying power.

This is my mother's island, she was from Milopotamos. We visited twice from Australia. We have beautiful beaches here, lots of surf and kilometres of white sand, different from Greece, however, seeing these places again brings back so many wonderful memories. Amazing how you feel about some of these places, and how I felt when I was there. I feel very fortunate to have had the experiences I did (and with my mother introducing me to them) and watching her face light up and come to life. It will always be wildly beautiful in my mind. Thank you for posting.
