VW advert would be cool if it weren't so obviously FAKE. Seems like it tricked 95% of the commenters lol.

I don’t see why these commercials put so much drama and feelings into these things, if I was a watcher, I woulda skipped it or exited out before the people got hit by a car

Texting while driving is bad all the way around. I witnessed what happens when you do. It was when the EMS guys were loading into a body bag a driver who was hit from behind by a semi truck driver who was texting while behind the wheel.

Honestly, my phone is mute 23 hrs a day. I told all my contacts they can reach me between 7 and 8 pm. NOT before NOT after. Cellphones have done much damage to our society. I won't be part of that.

Same for pedestrians, many times i see them walk & texting & just step to cross road.....no looking not hearing anything, they have responsibility also !

7:55 I'm a truck truck driver and i do follow the rule of the road to the best of my ability, but the little girl that got hit with that speeder in a school zone really hit home even though i slow to whatever speed the school zone is i think i will be going much slower than that because it takes me that much longer to stop, can never be too safe

These commercials are indeed good but it is a shared responsibility and it should be emphasized. Specially parents should educate children not to go blindly on the road. Last two accidents show it clearly, the children have not been taught well and parents have a huge responsibility too. Cars or motorbikes are heavy and there is a physical limit on driver control. Education is a must for all, not only for drivers.

We need a ton more of these Ads in all media streams... young & new Canadians are very prone to this danger

The first few were pretty cringe, from acting, to how the message was delivered Then we get to the kid distracting the driver, so did he cause his own death? (yeah I know, there was a delay, but the guy was being safe till the kid was like check your phone) From there we get the comedy ones, that guys head was pretty egg shaped, and probably cracked like one And an empty road in front of a school, funniest thing I've ever seen, sorry but that road would have been packed half an hour before the kids got out

They ask people to slow down, but day after day all vehicles has more power, they are faster. This is hypocrisy! Automakers should produce low displacement, powerless and slowers vehicles.

I had a friend drive me and another friend home for 2 hours. On his phone texting a girl 90% of the drive. We got home safe, but I wonder what he’d think if I showed him this?
@Nugire10 күн бұрын
The last one isn't thought out well. Sure, it has shock value, but the point it wants to make is that you shouldn't drive too fast. But the only time we even get as much as a hint that the girl was driving to fast was when she wasn't even in her car when she said "I must go". The "Just slow down" message only makes sense if it's adressing pedestrians to not just run into the street.

The first was a little weird. The second and seventh were clever but quite short. The other four though, third to sixth, especially the sixth, those were the best for conveying the message and provoking bodily response to it.

2:38 “Mobile phone use is the leading cause of death behind the wheel” So what have many manufacturers done? Put a large distracting touch screen out of the driver’s line of sight for secondary controls instead of knobs and switches that can be felt for😡
