Alligators are NOT the only thing I'm concerned with Bull Sharks can swim in Saltwater & Freshwater ALIKE. I EXPERIENCED the EYEWALL of Hurricane Charley personally and WOULD'NT pray that on my WORST ENEMIES but I WILL SAY "MAY THE LORDS WILL, NOT MY WILL OR YOUR WILL BE DONE". SELAH!!!!🤐🤲🙏

I love using the LiveTarget sardine twitchbait cause it fools the big ones and they EXPLODE on it! That's the kind of fishin' that really gets your heart pumpin' and your hands shakin'! Nice reds! 👍

How deep are you fishing? Are you always fishing the bait on the bottom? Thanks!

We were in 20 ft of water drifting the baits down about 10 feet. We were drifting so the baits are constantly moving about 10 feet off the bottom.

Sounds like the Rickster chattering about the fish! Lol Jason, you caught some good snook there (not snooks, just like you may have eaten a lot of shrimp, not shrimps!). ;)

What time of year is this? We usually come down in the fall. Would love to come down when the reds are schooling like that.

*I own just about ever length of these Okuma trout rods.>>>**nub.best/lwrs** I have only fished for trout on rivers and small lakes with these and they hold up very well. The action is one of the best I have used over the past 40 years of trout fishing. I have not broken one yet, the guys that have broken them catching bass are jerking so hard to set the hook maybe they need to use a medium/heavy action rod. These are ultra-light. 6'-6" perfect length if you were only on planning on one.*

Any opinion about bottom fishing in that area with small crabs? Thanks!
@FLAdventureQuest

Small crabs work great at Boca Grande. That is the primary bait for the tarpon. The tarpon I caught that got eaten by the bull shark was caught on a crab.

Most of the fish caught in the show were about 10 miles south of the Steinhatchee River along the coast in those prime grass flats.

The weekdays are always best but if you go out on a Sat or Sun make sure you are there Super Early or right at and even after dark in the evenings. That flat clears out early and you will have it to your self half hour before dark. If the tides line up during those times is will be good and could be EPIC!!
