After 4 years doing this channel, I'm going to need to win the lottery a few times to cover all my dream boats 😆

What would you name it?

On paper, there are reasons to say no...............but there is something that reels me back in that says I could have a lot of fun with this one! Fast cruising, offshore fishing, snorkeling, diving, island hopping, and with overnight accommodation down below as well. Very few boats will compete for offering such a dry ride, in almost any sea state.

I agree. I'd like to get a truck this year and can see me getting something like this in the next year or 2. It is relatively cheap and affordable to get out on the water 😎

I would recommend a multi room Trawler for less than half. Going fast is a narrow market, just sayin'.

For liveaboard cruising, I'd rather have a trawler. For fast offshore use, fishing and diving etc, I'd rather have this than most center consoles.

I've been around a lot of aluminum boats over the years. They always looked commercial or military, even when designed for the leisure market. Very few look this good for a yacht in my opinion 😎

I'm with you on this one. As I glanced at it on the pontoon I thought not for me. By the time I left, I was sold. I really like the all-weather capabilities and would be great for island hopping 😎

Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. Years ago, when I was in commercial boat sales, aluminum landing craft and crew exchange boats were popular. The aluminum was lightweight which meant it was more fuel efficient, and easier to get better speed with less hp. I suspect this might be part of the thinking for this design too 🤔

An "Explorer" should probably have multiple berths as well.

I'm 6ft 2 and have had back surgery. I can't crawl around like I used to. When I do these videos I always view it as if I owned the yacht, and this one was perfect. Plenty of room, plenty of air, plenty of light. You could easily do your checks and maintenance without much if any restrictions. 😎

These yachts are custom built, so the price can fluctuate a lot on spec. Very generic rough ballpark, you are looking at $3m - $4m

@@GarnockReviews There is an older 650 for sale but it's at the maximum upper limit of my price range. IMHO it's a good buy but still just out of my range. It's called Tasman, have you seen it? You need to do a video tour, it needs one. There are still a few things Id like to do that would push the costs up more. It even has a Seakeeper! Can you imagine what that cost for a 65' vessel? It's on Yachtworld and if you look at it check out the last photo and look at the conditions they're trying to launch the tender in. Crazy.

@DanielC__ I haven't seen that one but I did get asked this week if I would film a Grand Alaskan 65 in February. It's not listed anywhere yet as it's being prepared for the market. It might be worth your attention as well 😉
