While I love the watches bro…I cannot get myself to buy quartz anymore …do you think it makes sense to buy quartz once you have started a collection of automatics ? Or maybe I am overthinking 😅

I think quartz have their place in my collection. I have some expensive automatic watches and still enjoy my quartz watches as it’s so easy just to slap on the wrist and not worry about resetting the date and time.

@@TomHudsonOfficialgood choice on the green EFRS. Only the blue and green versions have the sunburst dial. The black and white versions have the vertical brushed dial. The turquiose is the "plain" one with the matte-ish dial.

I`m sorry to say that, but the bracelet in the blue chrono is not solid. I have the same watch, but the grey one and is not solid. However very good review. Thank you.

Congratulations.. Great Edifices.. I bought about 100 Watches in 2024 (no kidding !) including 15 Edifices (including 108D and 100L for each of which I paid much less here in India)..That Aquaterra has a mineral crystal. Thankfully my marriage is still intact 😉

@@TomHudsonOfficial Yes.. A majority of those are Casios which I bought when they were on heavy discount. I’ve not paid more than $90 for any watch (with a Protrek being the only exception).

I have a Hamilton Intra-Matic, and Jazzmaster Thinline. Both of them are everyday wearers for me, and excellent watches. Hamilton does decent straps right out of the box. This is more than can be said for some.

@@TomHudsonOfficial Hamilton, and Tissot both offer excellent build quality and decent choices for the money. In my limited experience at least, I have never had an issue with their QC. There are more expensive brands, but I can't really see the point.

The Omega Seamaster is a great watch with high quality, but its lume is not as good as my Seiko LX titanium spring or any of my other Seiko watches. Thank you for the great video.

I agree with you. If you check out my seiko 5 gmt video you will see the lume is comparable to the omega and is a fraction of the price.

I am getting this next month in blue. Can't wait. FYI, when I travel, I always stop by Omega boutiques at airport duty free areas. I have found that Omega store at Bangkok International Airport offers the best prices and you can also haggle a bit, they'll give you a good price so if you ever find yourself in Thailand, check it out. Also, the most expensive Omega store is at Istanbul international airport. Price difference is about $500-$1000
