I don't think this will ever be a real term. It took like 10 years for people to talk about DSBM, we called it just Black metal but depressive scene at the beginning. Worse for Dark Metal (Black/Doom, sometimes even Goth), never went in use, remained only on some German webistes after Bethlehem's album.
