The key to which is more difficult is not in rolling or dodging their attacks but actually by blocking. Or I should really say that both bosses require different evading methods to get by, which makes them both hard to judge. Malenia is harder to block simply because you can't use a shield with her, she will heal off that and in her second phase, you really can't get anywhere with blocking, your best bet is dodging out of her way. Radahn is harder to dodge because he's literally relentless, he's meant to be blocked, ideally with a Greatshield, also a thrusting weapon will be ideal too. if you're going to do a dodge test, Malenia is meant to be easier to dodge because that's literally the ONLY way you're supposed to kill her.

The reason Bayle didn't win is because he didn't keep close enough to stop Midir from using his laser. I think that 10k damage charge is also triggered by distance. Midir's strongest moves are triggered at range

When I was able to afford the dlc for ds3 I was already in ng+7 so my first time beating Midir I had to do it without getting hit because he would one shot me

When Bayle summons his wings and flies he’s supposed to be shooting homing fireballs at the enemy during his little approach. That isn’t happening here so he’s not fighting at his true or fullest potential here.
