Actually, the water level has been declining a lot. The recent water levels may be the peak for Lake Mead for the foreseeable future, according to a 24-month operation plan from the Bureau of Reclamations. The plan estimates that levels will steadily drop over the remainder of 2024, ending 17 feet (5.3 meters) lower by December. In 2025, the projection estimates that water levels may be at their lowest since the 1930s when the lake was filled. Thank you for watching.

These are all great questions @sal3oss . We think Aquatica is worth it. We’ve been visiting the park frequently since it opened in 2008. Also, they sell a ticket where you can come back the rest of the year for free. The first thing we would do is arrive early; the main entrance always opens before the official time. This way, you can be ahead of the rest of the crowds. Additionally, when you arrive early, secure some lazy loungers with a sun umbrella. Not all beds have one, and you’ll thank yourself later in the day. Finally, enjoy some of the many slides in the morning; the attractions tend to get busier as the day progresses. And if you just want to cool down during the day, head to Loggerhead Lane, grab a tube, and float in the lazy river. The food options are typical theme park fare: burgers, fries, salads, desserts, and beverages. Lastly, we personally recommend avoiding purchasing any of the Quick Queue passes; instead, focus on riding the attractions in the morning to avoid long lines. We hope this helps!
