Here's a hot take in response to the list of names that didn't make the numbers go up after signing with AEW: If the booking team could put together and sustain a compelling storyline most of those recognized performers could have moved the needle. Adam Copeland feuding with Christian Cage with a good build and payout would have drawn in viewers just on the nostalgia based upon their past history alone. Honestly Mercedez is one of the few if not the only one that I don't think creative could have gotten over after she signed, the rest creative dropped the ball.

Britt Baker is a TERRIBLE wrestler. Only good at promos. You've named a lot of WWE female wrestlers. What about the AEW wrestlers? Athena outshines her every category. And Deeb is only a better wrestler; her promos are about as bad as Mercedes.

I don't love Gunther, there are good matches but overall I make it my business to do something else while one of his matches are on! It's not like a full attention on the match like a drew/punk match. I think a big fear for Gunther holding the belt that a lot of people fear is that length in which he's gonna hold it. I wanna see chaotic turnovers with the belt having our superstars be in a constant chase for the belt.
