Andrea is my second cousin once removed and I don't believe we have ever met but I have so many pictures of her and Blanche as children and young women, as well as her parents, and grandparents, because my paternal grandmother was related to Andrea's mother and so my grandparents spent time with them all in Deland. My grandmother was the granddaughter of W.D. Heebner, as was Andrea's mother, Betty. What a joy it was to find this video and get to hear her talk about people I heard about when I was growing up. I'd love to find a way to get in touch with her online and share some of the pictures I have with her!

Thank you Mrs. Cusack, for telling your story. It’s an important story, for our history-the history of the United States.

A Black man assaulted a white woman (coincidentally when her husband went out of town)- and while her three children were asleep? Either this is made up or she was having an affair with this Black man-

It really bothers me when people don't bother to do the real research about the history of a topic before they spew whatever garbage and misinform the public. Must be republicans.

I have a Hoosier cabinet cuz I lived in studios for so many years. Having a Hoosier cabinet was a godsend. I still use it as an antique style desk in my home office. It’s sort of a cabinet for my printer and office supplies but also where I have my electric kettle snd tea and snacks. So it’s my break room. Lol.

I've looked for 22 years & have seen a sale price of 400 in the Upper South in 2018 but online 600 is cheapest then pay shipping. Keep your eyes open. Some are nice & some are rough. Good luck

Rebecca, I have a Hoosier cabinet that is manufactured by Sellars the original company that made these cabinets. Original oak unpainted and the roll up door is intact and the flour sifter is intact. Original glass knobs on the drawers. Willing to sell for 1,500.00.
