Her hair is perfect to hold a comb, but for most women it is going to slide right out especially the way she pushed them straight into the hair. Usually the comb in turned upside down to grab the part that was twisted and then turned so it is right side up (curved same as the head) and then you pick up hair just at the twist but not quite under it, and push until it and under the twist and it is secure. It is difficult to describe but pretty easy to do even to your own hair. Having product in your hair helps too.

Actually those metal combs with the twisted beginning of the wire-wrapped prongs are pulling out hair! These plastic or horn combs meanwhile are very fine, unfortunately I don't find some in my size.🙃

All very dreamy & beautiful! But no comb would stay in my heavy, slick, shiny, straight hair for more than 20 seconds. Not even if I sat stone still all day long lol.

I was thinking the same thing. I think a lot of these styles need support with bobby pins crossed through the comb

In my hair either. The prongs are far too short. And I guess those hairstyles in the video are just editorial - not for the whole day. I really wonder why until now no producer is making combs with really long prongs. And this twisted metal is pulling out hair too - cheap mass production adorned with some individual flowers afterwards.

Hi again, in the first video I would say that the pin is way too long to look good when crossing the French twist that way. The pressure should be exerted rather way down than to cross. But if you would use a comb instead with a straight base (not curved to the sides but only sticking to the head's curve) and shorter tines but more in number, it would fit perfectly. After crossing the twist the tines should come out after two or better three centimeters past the twist to gain perfect proportion and maximum hold. The second is a classical vertical infinity-bun and I really like that big hairpin! The third hair-accessoire, a hairslide, is very beautiful. I would advise you to make it in a bigger size too to be secured with a stick to pull through to secure whole buns. regards Fornarina

I just noticed your title and name.... luv luv luv it.... as you may notice, I have a title also.... Doña. I love coming to this section, it reminds me of doing a lot with my hair which is the exact colors of this model. I have 4 adult daughters but, when they were young, we would play "beauty shop" and do each other's hair and makeup.
