That integrated box step is in a bad spot, I can just see a 6' guy denting that quarter panel with his knee. I made sure my ranger didnt have that option. GM has had a box step for years on the silverado and colorado and that step makes sense located on the corner of the bumper making it easy to step up onto the tailgate.

The 5.0-liter V8 Coyote engine is rated at 450 hp. I didn’t push it though, just taking Ford’s word.

What he's trying to tell you is; the 2024 no longer makes 450 HP. It's rated at 480! Actually, when fitted with the active exhaust, it makes 486..

I appreciate your clarification. According to the vehicle’s monroney, this one is rated at 450hp, but you are correct that it is probably higher with the active valve exhaust.

The monroney is incorrect. The 2024 with the dual intake/ throttle body definitely makes 480+. ;)

I believe the monroney is reporting the original horsepower for the engine, not including the additional hp added by the optional features. Thanks for clarifying.

I just went to change the rear tire passenger side on a 2024 wagoneer and the tire jack is not tall enough to put the inflated tire on the vehicle while at max height on the furthest rear end lift point

That package is available on the Black Label, you’ll have to check. It’s a nice handling suspension. Hope you got the heated massaging seats for those cold Connecticut winters! Enjoy!

I think I forgot to mention in the full review that the EV9 GT-Line is one of the few EVs that come with a heat pump to improve cold weather performance. Although 30 below is pretty extreme. 😀

A battery heat pump, designed to maximise driving range in sub-zero temperatures, is standard on the EV6 GT, and available as an option on GT-Line and GT-Line S models.

I'm 69' and 6'4" with a bad back and I recently bought a 24' Cadillac (bucket list) CT4 Sport auto with the Onyx Package. It has 19' wheels on run flat tires with Brembo front brakes. Big mistake. The B pillar is so far forward that it is a BEAR to get in and out of. If I could fit in the Trax comfortably, I'd rim-it-up for a more aggressive stance and tint the windows. Come in?

I’m 6’4 and fit quite comfortably in the Trax. I agree about the Caddy being hard to get in/out of. I’m getting an XT4 next and will report back in a future review.

Yah, but an “ICE” vehicle can handle ice. My 20 year old Chevy can drive around for hours in -20°F weather with 12” of snow on the ground. And it only takes 10 minutes to fill my 30 gallon tank and get 200 miles of range.

Because no one has the electrical infrastructure to charge them. And you can’t charge them in Negative temperatures. It also need to last more than 10 years in order for it to be beneficial to the environment. If it lasts a shorter time it’s much worse due to the pollination created when making the batteries.

We're still in the development stage of EVs for sure. Charging infrastructure is growing (slowly), range is improving and the costs are coming down. Stay tuned!

It is not confusing. What you see as an arrow is "to the gas station" that refers to "Range" not side of the cap. For your information, if there is no arrow, it is literally the side of the pump of the gas icon.

I had the 2020 model with a few options, it was OK but if I had to do it again I'd go for a base model Sentra instead. Bigger engine and more safety tech standard. The base Versa is a good choice if you like manuals and don't really care much about tech.

Currently leasing a 2022 Kona Limited FWD -- and drove a 2019 Kona Limited FWD before that -- loving the redesign, especially the "space age" interior and will probably lease this vehicle (AWD this time) in October. I've watched so many videos about the new Kona and first one I've seen with the Red exterior. That's the color for me next. Last two were dark gray and I'm ready for a splashy color now. As I drive so few miles/month, the mpg is a nothing-burger for me and this top trim is way cheaper than a Toyota hybrid (that has a horrible interior design, and NO SPARE TIRE).
