Is there an ATA device that can be plugged in to my outside POTS box that connect the 5 POTS telephone that I have in my house? Looks like I need to change over the VOIP, but I don't know what to do in this situation. Most residential VOIP only seem to want to activate one phone.

My voip is 85 cents/month using voip(.ms). It's a little DIY. There's two ways to use it. First is plugging a small connector box into your router (e.g. Grandstream ht801). Then you plug your rj11 phone into the connector box. The second way to use it is via an app, such as MizuDroid.

looks like Grasshopper added voice recording very recently. I canceled their service three years ago because of this. Might have to consider going back to them. Ooma is getting very bad.

This video sounds like it was made years ago, when VoLTE was new, not 11 months ago as the video date implies. VoLTE, VoNR (on 5G) and WiFi calling are all essentially the same protocol. One other advantage is the CODEC used for VoLTE which can provide greater call quality. This is thanks to the greater bandwidth available on 4G, compared to the 2G & 3G CODECs, which tried to minimize bandwidth used.

Hey I have an issue with SIP ALG. I am getting SIP ALG Detected on only one device. I used multiple netwrok providers and used two laptops to test. But only in one laptop the SIP ALG is detected but on the other laptop its not . Its super fine even though i am connected to same wifi and same network. Ive checked the windows and device snd os spec and all are matching. To be honest when on the same wifi my colleague is connected then SIP ALG is not detected. Kindly please help

After using ring central at my previous job and dialpad at my current position, I like ring central more so far. dialpad support is frustrating and it seems like everything most companies would need is locked behind the enterprise plan (extensions, phone support...) My experience with ring central was it just worked, and was very intuitive to setup. support was also very helpful if we got stuck.
