Thank you for taking me with you to M‘era Luna 2024! This year unfortunately i couldn‘t be there but next year i will. 🖤😎 In 2023 nearby the club stage was a food truck with fruits yogurt etc. 🍓 I like the variations of bread at the Mittelalter Markt.😋 It’s filling and the prices are o.k. But it is also allowed to bring a packed lunch on the festival ground.

You're very welcome! 🖤 We're still deciding for next year but it's likely we'll go as well. It's just such a good atmosphere! I was very surprised at how nice all the food was. The Langos was definitely my favourite! I didn't actually realise you could take food into the festival grounds. That's good to know!

I have no idea what bird that is at 7:27, but I'd highly recommend to align your subtitles/texts per video. Some are centered, some are leftbound, some have backgrounds, some don't. Some are bottom line, some are top line. While different purposes can be set apart by that, like you seem to do on the date/time captions, it seems a bit all over the place on the comments that seem to appear randomly spread over the screen. 🤔 Like, for example the Flintstones comment is leftbound, while the comment before and after are centered. (yeah, i'm nitpicking here.) While variety and testing out stuff is cool, too much different stuff in a "slower style"/documentary-ish cut video, like this one, can be more irritating/confusing than refreshing. In the end it's a style choice and yours to make, also sorry for "backseat cutting" here. Overall nice video again though 🤗

Hahaha that was a long way to get to "overall nice video", Wolle 🤣 Thanks for the feedback, though. It's actually intentional on my part - I usually try to put things in a position that makes sense for me on the page (for example, in a place where the text may be more visible due to colour, or as close to the thing I'm referring to as possible). I guess overall it's just a style preference. The date/time captions are a pre-set one in iMovie, so they'll always be in the same place. It's a bit more annoying with the freeform ones you type yourself, though. I'll keep it all in mind, though! If you have any good recommendations for ways to not have a blurry thumbnail, though, I'd be glad to have them. That's my main irritation currently!

@@lifeandlouise Well, you know I love to hear myself talking. 😏 But as I said, it's a style choice you have to make, was just sharing my experience with several projects/customers/viewer feedback. 😊 I never used iMovie to cut stuff, only Premiere Pro, Shotcut (which is free) and now, as I want to stop to use Adobe after their stunt last month, Davinci Resolve (the free version of that is amazing btw!), but creating subtitles on any of these never is a huge deal. About the "blurry" thumbnails - on first glance, it looks like the resolution of the pictures used is either too high or too low and therefore YT compression "ruins" it. Pictures for thumbnails should be either 1280x720 or 1920x1080, but YT usually prefers the 1280x720 ones - also they should be a jpg or png. 🤔

@@ABSEUDUS I think there's an option to actually create particular subtitles within KZbin, but I've never tried that. Yeah, I think it's a problem with the resolution, so I'll have to see what I can do! It's so annoying when you make something and it looks great on your MacBook screen and then diminishes when you upload it 🙄

Resort fees are a scam. They have been recently required to display them when booking but the place them cleverly so most people dont see them. Another scam is a deposit on arrival for potential damages. If you look at reviews about 20% of people dont get the deposit back or have to weeks\months for it

Oh wow, that's good to know... Thanks for the info! I feel like especially for those from the UK / Europe, prices in the US (not just for hotels but other things, too) contain a lot of hidden costs. It feels like places are sometimes just trying to blend these resort fees into the taxes that are added on at the end. It's definitely a challenge when people are trying to budget their spending money and then having to pay all these unexpected extra costs on arrival!

Lovely vid, Louise. I'd recommend getting a Blue Yeti mic for your voiceovers to increase the quality. Could be beneficial to use more of the ambient sounds of your footage instead of the background music as well. Glad you had fun! (sorry, just being an audio nerd)

Thanks!! Getting a mic is definitely on my list, so definitely message me separately to give me some pointers. I like using the ambient sounds but sometimes the problem is people talking too much (either to me when I'm recording, or random people saying random things 😂)

Düsseldorf in general has the largest Japanese community in Europe, so yes! Thanks! I haven't travelled extensively in that region but I've spent a lot of time in Tübingen, which I'd definitely recommend. It's twinned with Durham so it's very historical!
