Awesome vid! Still got the jacket and wearing regularly? Should make a new check in video update if so and the latest outfits you style with it now. Also mind sharing your heigh and weight? Thinking I'd probably be close and also go for a size 3

do they fit like how rick owens fit?
@KayceeChen11 ай бұрын
From what I read online mainline Rick Owens fit bigger usually, and Guidi leather boots are known for the opposite so no I don't think they fit the same.

Did the cobbler put the vibram sole with nails or just with glue? I want to put mine on but I'm afraid it might damage the boots.
@KayceeChen11 ай бұрын
No nails involved. They usually smoothen the sole with a sander perfectly, and then glue the vibram sole with adhesive.

If you don't mind, how tall are you and what size did you get? I'm around 173 cm 72 kg and I am debating between size 3 and 4.
@KayceeChen Жыл бұрын
I'm the same height as you around 67kg and I was fine with size 3. You could get a size 4 if you want to have more room to style with layers I think.

so glad that i came across your video before i began attempting to "Age" my jordans. totally agree with your approach! i do like the "dusty scuff" look that many KZbinrs are achieving by soaking them in coffee water. However, i would much rather do it another less invasive method if you can advise us. Thanks for sharing!

Chuck 70 is "re-introduced" in 2013 to pay homage to the 70s Chuck Taylor, I still remember when I was a kid back then, my father (RIP Dec 15, 2022) said it was his dream shoes since he was a teenager, he really likes the comfort of the insoles compared to the classic chucks, whenever I see chucks 70s, I'm instantly in love with it and hoping to buy a set of the Chuck 70 some day.
@KayceeChen Жыл бұрын
So sorry to hear about your father.. Chuck 70s are still going strong in 2023 and is easily accessible at most retailers. I hope you'll get a pair soon enough!

Kapital Boro 1st Jacket 2013 is the best.

I actually prefer the newer ones because of the rayon lining which is more suitable for all-year long wearing instead of the wool lining ones. But yeah regardless they are both perfect for boro lovers!

I can't say for sure but I believe they might have found a way to automate the process to some degree.

Personally I like the Chuck II's overall shape. I like how it looks the way the heel counter is shaped it's like it's molded to your heel and then it narrows at the top to perfectly fit your achilles and ankles. I like the chuck II's in black canvas and white midsoles tho the other colors look bland tbh.

Hy, very nice review. Can you please tell me if the size fits well? If i ordered size 8(41EU) but he usually wears 7.5 (40,5 EU), does it gonna fit? Or i should change to a 7? Thank you!

Thé 70's chucks are so confy
@limitedbom22062 жыл бұрын
I've tried them on for a day or two and compared to the allstar, they feel like a boot. Not sure if you had them for a long time and could let me know how soft they eventually get when beaten down over time, but the all star is like a slipper right off the bat. The 70s toe imo was really uncomfortable compared to the allstar.

Hey man, sick video! How did you darken the suede to that grey? Cause I tried to use baby oil but it wasn’t darkened that much like your pair….
@KayceeChen2 жыл бұрын
To be honest mine isn't really that dark in real life as well.. lighting plays a role! But my guess is you could wet it more either with water or more oil but I wouldn't really intentionally mess up that suede that much.. they'll eventually darken over time after some wears!
Next time just soak them in coffee for a bit n they’ll be perfect after some slight alcohol swabbing

Easier way to have the tongue stay up properly is to cut 2 slits at the top of the tongue and run the laces through it.
@Ben_lewandowski2 жыл бұрын
Can I ask why you opted for the cream stainer instead of sail or ivory? I’m planning on doing this soon and was just curious as cream seems to be the darkest out of the the three
@KayceeChen2 жыл бұрын
Terribly sorry for the late reply! Haven't been checking my KZbin as of late. Yep cream is the darkest of all but it wouldn't matter much because you can still tone it down with a wet wipe! It's very flexible and the darkness and tone of it can be adjusted freely!
