The new LWO feels like its not really doing any favors for anyone other than Dragon Lee and Zelena every now and again. Rey is already a legend with an unbelievable history. It feels like he was brought in to boost the other members, however they just feel like a stable of jobbers..

Dominik leaving Judgement Day and taking the reigns of a heel LWO would be awesome, I've also found that Zelina Vega to be pretty underrated, too, so have Dom leading with LDF and Zelina as a new, heel LWO and you've got a fun act. The goal of the LWO should be showcasing the Latino talents that usually don't get the recognition they deserve. They kinda started off like that but now they just seem like fodder in whatever tag team championship number 1 contenders match they have going on. If it were up to me the mission statement of the LWO should be getting Zelina and Dragon Lee over as singles competitors. Turning Zelina face and pairing her with Rey was quite literally the best thing they ever did for her and they just kinda did nothing with it.

Maybe Dominic can lead a new Filthy Animals would probably work with his character.

I don't think anyone wants both the LWO and LDF to succeed but you're right both stables don't have a clear mission. I don't think anyone really knows what to do with them. I think Santos needs to convince the rest to go heel and go after those that wronged them

CMLL is like triple A when it comes to characters, it doesn't matter if the other guy who had it was this amazing legend everyone loved and came up with the gimmick to begin with, they'll find a way to screw them out of the gimmick and then take any credit for its success, give it to someone a lot less capable who could never fill the shoes and then force feed him down everyone's throats until they get tired, it's part of why they do so poorly in shows these days. For Panterita del Ring his transition from Panterita to Mascara Dorada 2.0 worked because fans already loved him and the original (Gran Metalik) was already known world wide for a different name and didn't need it. The kemonito suit however comes across like the La Parka situation where both parties simply split with one party finding a younger and more inclined to work with the management wrestler while the other left for greener pastures, in this case WCW. Whatever the case, times have changed, no one will care and will keep watching because that just wrestling fans are, in the words of a good friend of mine from queens, NY "it is what it is n*gga".
