As an old guy beginner, I really appreciate the individual string / fret placement written in an easy to read script. (E.g. at 1:58 ) Thank you!

You have the makings of a professional guitar teacher. I'm into blues & bluegrass mainly, but the way you teach pentatonic... you make it fun & somewhat clear to understand. You should do more short videos on pentatonic scales with souped-up examples. Your positivity is contagious also!

this didn't quite feel right to my ear. I played around with it a bit and ended up settling with F, Am, Dm, Bb for the main progression instead if anyone feels like trying something different (obviously I changed the key there as well, but that was just to suit my voice)

Good tutorial that would've been better without the Tiger Woods hat, although maybe you had a deeper meaning that Tiger is actually a friend of the devil. In that case, you win

I'm one who thinks that The Grateful Dead are OVERrated. I acknowledge that at their best, they were great. And I also agree that China Cat Sunflower / I Know You Rider on Europe '72 is one of their best jams. I didn't know about the studio upgrading that they did here, but that helps me understand why I like it so much. The vocals were especially good, which was unusual for a band that rarely had good vocals (and often had BAD vocals). The Dead's main product was always their live shows and on Europe '72, they sounded better than I have ever heard them in person. So in that way, the album is deceitful. However, if instead of being a historical document, an album is considered to be a product that gives joy many times over, the studio improvements are acceptable and welcome. There is a reason that most people's favorite Dead album is the studio-recorded "American Beauty".

Nice. I had a blues guitarist as a teacher and he just blew me away. I used to bring him in cassette tapes of songs I wanted to learn and he’s write it out for me as well as record the practice session! Helluva guy.

Love your playing style and your approach to this tune - the little hammer-ons for each note on the alternating bass notes really bring a lot more life to the tune and give it a much fuller sound when playing it solo - definitely the best lesson I have found yet for this classic tune - excellent channel my friend - keep up the good work - cheers from Canada!!!!

Nobody explains this riff okay. I'm gonna have to figure it out and do my own tutorial... I get the G scale part. How do I go from there? I'm playing a g scale, what next? A bunch of info flies at me way too fast for it to stick. "Oh, just play this, this, this, this and this, and then a C chord , this and this" Like... We can't see that in these videos. Fifty videos and they're all pretty useless

You are not yet ready for this lesson. Find other things to work on and come back here occasionally to see if you've improved your listening and playing skills sufficiently. We've all been where you are now. Lessons like this may be useless to you, but they are valuable to those that are further along their music journey.
