Started with the Beasts, then been on Adrenline for the last few years (with other shoes in rotation eg. ASICS Kayano's). Be interesting to know how they both compare to the Brooks Glycerin GTS..
@FindMyFootwearКүн бұрын
Okay, it sounds like you thought you needed more support when starting with the Beast and then progressed to the Adrenaline. The Kayano is a little less supportive again than the Adrenaline, see our review of the Kayano here - kzbin.info/www/bejne/qaXJh6ubg7yLntk The Glycerin GTS is now very similar to the Adrenaline GTS 24 - or should I say the Adrenlane is similar to the Glycerin because the Adrenaline GTS24 now has the same DNA Loft v3, nitrogen-infused foam. The Glycerin is simply a little higher stacked. We have a review of the Glycerin here - kzbin.info/www/bejne/gnytYmqYqaulY9U this is the regular version, the GTS adds the GuideRail support system. We also have a review of more Brooks shoes here - kzbin.info/www/bejne/n4WVm5SArsiAe7c

Congratulations for this nice review, right now I'm using the Brooks Glycerine GTS 20, and I have to say that I'm doing it well. I'm 1.80 x 92 kg tall, so I think I'll try these Beast GTS 24 as well. Because I really care about their support for my pronation!

The v14 just nudges things along a little and makes the 1080 series a better all rounder.

I really liked the 1080 v13 , it was a strange one because it was very pillowy and nice for sore legs but strangly I could pick up the pace in it and when throwing down strides or sprints the foam would firm up enough. Thanks for the comparison

which would be better for long distance runs at around 20-30km at 6m k/m pace?
@FindMyFootwear10 күн бұрын
Hi, the HOKA Mach X2 is the faster, more energetic shoe and responds the more you put in. It can accommodate longer runs and slower paces if you're ok with the more hugging race fit. The HOKA Mach 6 still has energy but it's probably a safer bet for longer distance cruising, overall stability and protection. However, I know new runners who've logged 2-hour half marathons very happily in the Mach X2.
@Re_mad710 күн бұрын
@@FindMyFootwear thank you! I did my second run in the mach x 2 today and found it extremely comfortable. I did a 13k run and got 10k PB without going all out... I'm edging towards keeping these and rotating them with my superblast 2. Sound like a good idea?
@FindMyFootwear9 күн бұрын
Congrats on the 10km PB, that's ace and glad the Mach X 2 are working for you. Between those and the Superblast I'd say that rotation that should cover 99% of your runs.

I own a pair of SG 5, but the cushioning seems to have died after 300K. And I was told by Hoka people this sounds about right. Must say I am very disappointed and was expecting more mileage out of the shoe. Did they fix this with the SG 6?
@FindMyFootwear17 күн бұрын
This is something HOKA said they've addressed in the Speedgoat 6 with a foam that retains its resilience longer. However, in testing so far we've not yet hit the 300km mark so we can't vouch for that yet. No signs of worrying degradation so far though.
@macau.friend16 күн бұрын
@ Thx for the response! Hopefully, they have fixed the issue. 300K for a trail shoe at that price point is really disappointing

200 eur, son demasiado gruesas y pesadas ,es mejor mejor bastante menos perfil de suela para corredores de hasta 80 kg serian mas agiles pero eso lo haran con la hyperion tempo ,pero eso ya es otra historia y precio.

Great review. Just subbed. Quick question. What would you recommend these for someone who over pronates but has narrow feet? I often find the shoe box too big due to my narrow feet.
@FindMyFootwear23 күн бұрын
The Beast comes in 3 widths: medium (D) , wide (2E) and extra wide (4E) , so you should find the medium ok.
@johndixon55725 күн бұрын
How's this differ from adrenaline?
@FindMyFootwear25 күн бұрын
The Beast differs from the Adrenaline GTS by being a straighter last, broader base and slightly firmer cushioning. These things all contribute to make it more supportive and offer more control than the Adrenaline. These features also mean Beast is more suitable for heavier runners.
@johndixon55725 күн бұрын
@@FindMyFootwear thank you, i have adrenaline and glycerin both gts but I have a friend asking about stability so it's nice to know especially as he's 6 ft 6 so a heavier guy

When I heard the voice knew it must be Kieran from TRT, ES3 is definitely my favorite daily trainer across all sessions, my speed 3 has officially retired after 1000KM mileage bad news is couldn't find any stock ES3 from Saucony anymore which is too bad since they probably stopped ES3 production.
@snowwalker999926 күн бұрын
Speed three would bother my right big toe but for some reason not the left. Going half a size up would make the shoe too large. I hope the sizing issue is resolved in Speed 4. I have ordered a pair.

Just how cushioned is this shoe? And how does it compare to the 20/21 and other max cushioned shoes on the market
@FindMyFootwearАй бұрын
The Triumph 22 is the same PWRRUN foam as the previous model, it's just a slightly different geometry. Overall most runners won’t notice too much difference and if you liked the Triumph 20/21 you’ll like this update. The nearest comparisons would be things like the New Balance 1080 and Brooks Glycerin. The New Balance is a little softer, but not as responsive as the Triumph but the Glycerin has quite a similar feel in terms of the responsive ride. It comes down to personal opinion. We have videos of both of these here too - check them out.
