Never alpined. Learned on teles 22 years ago on Cameron Pass. Skiing 30 year old T2 thinking I should probably start alpine skiing ….then you play Alex Cameron. Guess I’m in this for life.

So how does it feel and ski?
@telecolo_7 ай бұрын
It definitely brings to the table a slightly different flex pattern when compared to the current Tx Pro line. Primarily in a stiffer cuff to ankle and a softer bellow. With that pattern, I’d say the boot skis overall stiffer than the current Pro. I focus much more on putting my weight heavy into the cuff and focusing it through the ankle while keeping the toe box flat when flexing the bellows. A little bit of learning… yes. But I believe the benefits in weight and updated construction outweighs this slight hurdle. Skiing wise, they are certainly powerful and allow you to drive the ski instead of riding it.

Thank you for giving a good review. To many times when tele boots do not cater to a persons specific standard or past favorite boot we hear how the boots are "no good” “pass” or “wait”. I am just happy to see improvements and progress in boots. There will always be someone who complains that it isn’t as soft and light as a leather boot.

Awesome videos. I’m about to mount my NTN bindings on my new Black Crows Mirus Cor. And ride 80% groomers with a lot is switch, and 20% park. Where would you guys recommend mounting the bindings? The ski shop here and Denmark has no clue and they are doing it in three days simply where they would mount normal bindings. Any help is greatly appreciated 🎉
@telecolo_11 ай бұрын
Sorry for the delay @RonniWest! If you are primarily ripping groomers with a small percentage in park, I tend to recommend following the boot sole middle mounted at the alpine recommended line on the ski. I see the website shows the mount point is -3.5 cm for tele. With that profile, that should be plenty fun for groomer ripping and backwards dorking, while not feeling too far back for enjoying park!
