"When you have greater desire to connect with lost people than you do to correct lost people".

Wow, what an absolutely powerful message! It also happens, as we know, to be true May we be desperate and hungry enough for God to receive the Grace necessary to truly care about what He cares about - souls Thank you for posting this incredibly important message, that's even more important today than it was six years ago Thanks so much for posting, and God Bless you! 🙏🏼

I cannot share my faith if I do not add value to people. I cannot change or correct people if I don't have the ability to connect. John Maxwell Been reading your books since year 2000. Now it's 2024, I watched you speak and I learned a lot more.❤❤❤

'We shld be looking for lost people who are looking for God and God will lead us to them.' Those words remind me of a single mom who was begging for money to buy her food and medicine. Her daughter is grown up so she lives alone. Prior to meeting her one blessed day, my prayer was for God to use my life as His vessel. So God made me notice her and convicted my heart to give her money. I asked her what happened to her neck. She was yellowish, had difficulty walking and her eyes looked tired and sad. So she responded it was for dialysis but since its onset of pandemic, she finds it hard to go to the clinic. She was using courtesy coupon from the govt to avail of the procedure. She was required to be on dialysis 2x a week but she's not meeting it. She claimed she lives alone and neighbors look after her. So I started to tell her God loves her and He knows what's going on about her life. She started to cry and told me she prayed a lot but it seemed God did not hear her. That she had sinned against God and needs Him. I stayed with her, we talked and I listened intently until I invited her to go with me the following day to the local church I attend at. And we went together the next day. I picked her up from same place and introduced her to the brethren. Days had passed and she continued begging around the area where I found her. I wld drop by and be with her. Until the day came that she was not coming to the place as confirmed by the vendors. So I contacted her and informed me she was so ill to get up. She was waiting for her sister to bring her to the dialysis center. It was pandemic time and they cld not be sent with ambulance because all of the ambulances were on the road. As the sister was trying to get help, I had a moment with my new friend. She said she tried to take her own life using scissors but cld not do it. So she surrendered her life to God and entrust it to Him. She looked different (in a pleasant way) when she broke the beautiful news to me. So I invited her to pray with me and praise God with me. She assured me that she is ready to be with God and she is not afraid if she dies. I went back another day (I tried to call her phone several times but it was always unattended) and I was welcomed by her daughter. She eventually told me her mom died. I felt sad but I was rejoicing too, knowing she is secured in Jesus. Yes, God is waiting to hear our "Yesses" to send us out to the lost.🙏 Thank you for your sweet time.

I, I, I personally, really don’t understand, why someone cam compare church, or Christ to a business and product. 😂that’s why I thought I would never go to church, untill, I did need one of your products, private school, for my daughter. and I didn’t go to the hell😊 Cheers 🎉

I am not a Christian (at least, not in the traditional sense of the word). "Lost is lost" bothers me. But John is John. He is a real leader. And when the real leader speaks, people listen.

When John Maxwell created the John Maxwell Team, he had the following goal in mind: ℹ |"I want to make a difference by doing something that makes a difference, other people who want to make a difference, at a time that makes a difference" 1⃣So I chose to make a difference, I am very happy to know that I am part of an international team with strong values and principles, with valuable and lively people. Thank God, I am full of life! 2⃣The Maxwell Method of Communication is the most effective and enjoyable way to learn the art and craft of communication. It's a powerful, practical and proven philosophy refined by John C. Maxwell through over 50 years of experience in front of thousands of audiences of all kinds. 3⃣Thank you very, very, very much John Maxwell, John Maxwell Team. ❤❤❤❤ The John Maxwell Team ❤❤❤❤❤

Hey mate, that’s a really good question. I would encourage you to try and join an alpha course somewhere in your area. I think that’s a really good way of learning what the Christian faith is about in a comfortable and welcoming setting with no commitments 😊

God wanted us to be as wise as a snake. Yet it was a snake which enticed Eve!
@RichardSparks2 жыл бұрын
Cunning as a serpent simply addresses the understanding of human nature. It does not mean wicked. The serpent in the garden was cunning, but wicked. He was able to entice Eve because she was naive. She did not have an understanding of the serpent's dishonesty nor her own vulnerability. Adam and Eve walked with God. They had no experience with deception. Thus they were able to be deceived. The full quote is to be cunning as a serpent and gentle as a dove. This means that you know and understand all the ways in which humans are vulnerable, and do not exploit those vulnerabilities. You know the truth of the human ability for wickedness and choose not to follow that path.

I was introduced to the Gospel in 2005. Apart from the "eternity in hell" notion, I find the Judeo-Christian theory very attractive. I cannot say, however, that I'm a 100% believer. Why? Because I have unanswered questions.
