Duncan, the funeral service was wonderful. Tarmod and I spent six and half years together in Paisley/Renfrew and Glasgow. We boarded together for over 2 years. Norman was best man at our wedding in 1967 shortly before we left for Canada. You mentioned that Norman was well read, he was always with his head in a book. I recall in Carloway school when we returned after the Christmas holidays, Mr. MacLeod our teacher asked each one of us what presents we received. The commonest replies were "a football, a pencil case, the Beano and Dandy. Norman said that he received a set of encyclopedias. I recall that he was always referring to them. Is was an honor to have known him and call him my friend.

I remember the children’s service from last year and how I enjoyed hearing them sing. It would have been wonderful to be there again this year. My heart is with all of you. Merry Christmas to all of you. You are in my heart.

As a very young passénger , from Barvas , visiting my uncles in Arnol I felt greatly supported by Marion the conductress who held my hand as I boarded and disembarked the steep steps, for my little legs & saw me safely across the road. I never forgot Marion the bus conductress ,but unfortunately my paths never crossed with Marion as an adult. God Bless you all as a family as you grieve the loss of “a mother’s love”😢

I have missed a few weeks because I’m so busy at work and home. I’m away in the U.S. visiting family I haven’t seen in four years for a month. I miss all of you and Lewis.

It’s hard to believe that I have been away so long. But every Sunday it is almost like being with all of you.

Dear Duncan, So happy to see you back in Carloway . I hope all goes well with your eye operation goes well. I enjoy singing along with all you. I almost feel like I am there with you. I like when the camera pans back so I can see everyone and can see where I sat went I was coming to church.

Thank you for another lovely church service. I was chuffed to see the quilts are now going up for a silent auction. I hope it goes well. It will be nice to have Duncan back next week. It is next week he’s coming back isn’t it? I guess it really doesn’t matter because I’ll be listening to the service and watching the service next week as well. Miss all of you I love all of you.

It would have been nice to be in church yesterday to here a different minister. I miss the fellowship so much. I look forward when Duncan returns. I sure he will have many things to tell us.

It is so nice to be with you on Sunday mornings at church. It brings joy to my heart and lifts me up when I hear everyone singing and I am singing along with you. I am so lucky to be able to be in the church with you through the Internet. I think one of the things I like the most are the hymns. And hearing everyone sing and to hear Margaret play the piano. I so miss being with all of you. You know even when I was in Cyprus I was able to be in church with you. I’m looking forward to next Sunday and being with you again.

It is so good to be able to be with all of you on line and to enjoy the service with Duncan. I miss the little white church and when I see the church before the service makes me a bit homesick for all my friends. May the lord be with all of us everyday.

I am so happy to be able to be with ever week and so wish I could be with all of you for Palm Sunday at The Blue Pig and make your way to church. Miss all of you.

Thank you for the broadcast. I felt like a was with all of you and could see where would have been sitting if I had been there this Sunday. I was good to hear the Word from Duncan. I don;t know who answers or reads the comments but to let you know I made back to Perth safely. On the ferry yesterday morning I meet Christine husband, D.J. and little Mary. It was like the lord was with me and the people from little church behind the big one were there for the last good bye before I return. If you are at the prey meeting on Thursday please tell them I am with them in spirt and prayer. Sincerely Stephen
