Srs question. How illegal is it to street drift in japan?
@filippale95938 жыл бұрын
+Anthony G How illegal... it's not like it's gonna be slightly legal it's either legal or not legal

Yea but like what are the consequences in relation to like America if u get caught
@MidnightMuzic8 жыл бұрын
+Anthony G the consequences are pretty bad. I've visited a friend who's pretty rooted in his local drift scene and was wondering the same thing so I asked. In a lot of cases peoples licenses were revoked and their cars were scrapped even if they were first time offenders. It's different from case to case though

MidnightMuzic damn, thats interesting seeing how that scene originated there. Thanks for the info though

+Anthony G From my time there the consequences are similar to anywhere in the western world. However I saw there would be less of a police response only a few units would show up to place and even then it was hard to do something versus 5+ drift cars. where I'm from there would be helicopters spike strips and mass units so you couldnt get away. The attitude is a little more relaxed I personally saw the police just trying to move people on from one area and disperse them rather than arrest and penilize them. but I also know of people who have had licences revoked and cars impounded or crushed
