I grew up there 85-96 and went to Ravenor primary school. Greenford looks almost unrecognisable now from what i remember 😮

Ah I spent much of my teen years here and the shops have changed! VBs was Sainsbury's and we loved eating at Jennys Burgers, a quality cafe with homemade food which I think is the pub now. And Woolworths is now an Iceland. Clinton cards have gone too, too expensive back then! The food shops do look inviting and very exotic I think I could have fun shopping in that bakery if I was still in the area. Looks much busier but maybe that's just in my head. Ha, a good nostalgic trip. Thanks!

Firstly, Trowbridge isn't 'quaint'. Also, it's the county town of Wiltshire. As you walk around, I am reminded of when there were decent shops, now replaced with closed ones, bargain shops, gambling shops and other dross. Awful. Totally gone down hill. The taxi rank used to be completely full.

Abingdon it seems to be full of Turkish barbershops now and once you could buy beef chicken lamb now or you can buy is goat and Polish sausage and the demographics are changing rapidly
@voodoodolly776 ай бұрын
You forgot to add ferrel offspring everywhere, vape shops, phone repair shops & eateries a plenty. Nothing very British about Abingdon sadly.

I left High Wycombe in 1989 and I am surprised how nice the Eden still is ( Octagon it was called then ) I have seen other videos of town centers but High Wycomber doesn't look so bad as all the others. I have lived in Asia now for over 25 years and would never go back. The Uk has dark times to come I believe.

@@Greenfordbusboi what’s racist about it? Do you disagree? Do you think it looks more like England?
@iesroo4 ай бұрын
@@danieIlondonEven if it is racist, it is still correct. I live near Greenford in Dormers Wells, Southall and go to Greenford quite often, and my area is EVEN WORSE. There are barely any English people around here, and I mean it is VERY hard to find an English person here. We have pretty much been ethnocided out of our own area, and soon our whole country and continent.

I am Pakistani and agree, not just Pakistanis though there are loads of polish people, but hardly any genuine Brits, the area is also run down and over crowded
