9:00 completely agree. 360 cam should be standard, as well as the "Active Distance Assist" that apparently is a DLC you have to purchase from Mercedes. The recently released GLA 250 4MATIC is likewise missing these features. To those who want to buy a Mercedes to enjoy "premium" features, might as well look to higher-spec Asian cars. For example, the 2022 Kia Carnival feels more premium in this respect. I thought maybe the GLB could be an upgrade to it sometime in the future, but after watching your review, ima give it a hard pass. thanks!

EVs in Malaysia are just a lifestyle choice and not really doing anything much for the environment. You only have to look at the state of public transport in Malaysia, the lack of charging infrastructure on the highways and rural areas, and the complete lack of control for phasing out IC cars. For instance, a while ago, Perodua introduced a strip-down version of the Axia for RM20k to encourage Malaysians to upgrade from motorbikes to cars which spews out more pollution. So, what is the point of all these EVs and so-called push for a better environment. Classic Malaysian thinking, say and do what thing with one hand, but negate that with the other hand!

I'm old enough to remember the 1970s when Japanese cars were not only considered inferior to continental cars, but were also considered death traps. Cars such as the Datsun 120Y had panels so thin that as a child, I could easily push in the panel side with a finger. The quality of Japanese cars were so bad then that there was an urban myth that Japanese car panels were made from Milo tin! But they were much cheaper than continental cars and quickly overtook them as the vehicles of choice for Malaysians. Fast forward some decades, and Japanese cars are now considered much superior to continental cars in terms of engineering and reliability. And they have been the consistently top sales charts in the USA in terms of volume sold, reliability, safety, and resale value. Korean cars in the 1990s were similarly as bad as the early Japanese cars, their only saving grace being their cheaper price. Yet, Korean cars now have evolved and are much superior, and seriously competing with Japanese cars in every aspect. China cars are similarly on the same product development period. However, I have noticed that they are evolving faster to better cars than Japanese and Korean cars were. I suspect this is due to them buying over Western manufacturers and adopting their technology and intellectual property, as well as the billion population in China which gives them a very lucrative market to sell to and experiment with.
