Hey son, I have a question? I have a 02, F-250 with 7.3 N it. I bought it new. After a few months, I would B driving I-10 N Mobile. It would feel like the transmission was slipping when I started up a hill. Took it several times 2 Ford but they could never find it. After 4 yrs It showed it's ugly head. The light would flash on & off on the overdrive on & off switch on handle on steering column. I drove it for 7 yrs shifting hard until it went completely out. Put another N it & 5 yrs later it starts going bad. This has happened up 2 the one that is N it now. I had the 1st 2 2nd & 2nd 2 3rd. Shifter thing. Forgot word for them. 5 days after that, they went bad. I've been driving it easy, I put transmission conditioner N it from time 2 time. But I have asked Ford what the problem is with this cotton pickin transmission. Oh but they don't know! Do U know what the problem is son & why it has a problem slipping? I haven't hauled anything with truck other than a 5'x10' utility trailer with a riding mower on it. The over drive switch stays off and blinking. It shifts hard N2 2nd & N2 3rd. Is there a kit that resolved this issue when rebuilt. This is the 3rd bad transaction including the one that came N it. Any information U know & can share would B greatly appreciated 👍!! Thanks!!
