So many years in the business, I didn’t know what negative rigging was called but I’ve been doing it for over 20 years
@jrapanut022 күн бұрын
Most people don’t know setting it and retrieving it can be done from the ground. It was in the instructions. I read many years ago.

The tree deserved better. It was probably there centuries before that house. Rest in peace, beauty.

Was the time spent rigging really less then the time to toss a few tires down and or bring dirt to fill the bomb zone? Landing big chunks flat speeds things along…

Trees do have a lifespan. Just like most animals they can get diseases as they age. Just because they look fine on the surface doesn't mean a thing. Many trees are rotting from the inside and fall out of nowhere. And yeah it was leaning but would have definitely lasted a good while. As for the tree hugging community...what's your home and furniture made of😅 if you care so much plant some trees and worry about you.

Humboldt makes less impact, keeps the log falling nearest to the tree. There is a 1mt gap when falling. Open face for heavier logs.

This is in the UK, it's not even a native tree there. Goes to show it doesn't remotely belong there and it's not very old, likely younger than the house. Redwoods grow very fast, wouldn't be surprised if it was the same age if not younger than the deciduous trees behind it. So-called nature enthusiasts in the comments.
@user-yx1gk6fu5yАй бұрын
So what if it’s not native it is still beautiful and deserves to live
@IrithyllSaintАй бұрын
@@user-yx1gk6fu5y The building is also beautiful on top of being native.
