@@inikann Did you set the system resolution to highest one (native) ? If not , set the to the highest resolution. Then switch to 100% and reset davinci. if it was small, choose another option. Maybe some bog has occurred. Thanks for watching 🌹

How would you go about working with raw camera files that have file breaks because of the FAT32 file size limit for long form recordings to make clips part 1 & 2?

@@JoelS4000 There are some ways to do it . I think the easiest one is do multicam clip for each part separately. For example, if you have 3 parts , you should do it 3 times. You don't need to sort them , each part will be sorted by audio.

@DaVinci.Resolve Thank you. Hopefully in a resolve update pretty soon they might offer a feature either in the cut page or edit page where we can merge the FAT32 fragments clips that would be great. If I made a compound clip I don't know if multicam mode would work with that and would see that as one or two pieces I'm not sure if that would work but I like your idea and I'll try that just do them separately however many parts there are multicam one two and three and so on.

Also, I guess I could export the fragment pieces timeline by itself as one clip if there is a totally lossless export codec within DaVinci Resolve these are UHD 3840 by 2160 clips is there a lossless option in the free version

@JoelS4000 You're welcome 🌹 You also can do the method that I said before in separate timeline , then insert all timelines into a main timeline in order to prevent messing up and large tracks in main timeline. There are 2 ways to do it : 1. put all parts of each camera in separate timeline and then insert all timelines into a main timeline. 2. Sync parts in separate timelines , then insert synced timelines in the main one . for merging them first , maybe you can use proxy . Make proxy from merged clips and in export , use original fils . actually I forget the codec and file types in free version but I mentioned them in "free vs paid version DaVinci comparison" video . you can export all raw files with best settings, then use them as a one file per camera . I think their quality most not change too much

This "Basic Method" has it's good points but still has way too many steps. Filmora 14 has a new multi-camera edit feature that does circles around any of davinci resolve's methods. Filmora has truly become a true professional contender in the NLE market. Their multi-cam is awesome among other great features plus their Planar Tracking doesn't require node trees and connecting arrows to them in the fusion page and the many insane steps that program requires to create fx in general. Their fusion page needs to be completely reworked and designed.

@@DaVinci.Resolve How do I enlarge the viewer in the Davinci color page. I am surprised by how small it is. The color page is like the flagship most important page in the program in one sense. There has to be a way to actually see the color changes as you work in a bigger screen.

@@JoelS4000 there are 2 ways to do it: 1. at the top right of the screen in color tab, there is "Timeline" button which is usually active. click on it and by disabling it, the viewer become bigger. 2. if you need really big viewer, at the right side of "Bypass Color/Fusion" button, there in "Enhanced Viewer" button. you can switch between normal and large viewer by click on it.

if you follow the steps that mentioned in video correctly, it means that your system does not support 10bit color. the reason can be one (or more) of these: 1. your graphic card (GPU) does not support it 2. the video cable (HDMI or Display Port) does not support it 3. your monitor does not support it thanks for watching 🌹

I don't follow about put the playhead where you want it, as in a certain part of a clip, or do you just mean anywhere along the clips as long as the clip is selected you can just use the trim edit mode for the first example I think as you really are just sliding the clip along?

@@stehume in this method you don't need to select clip , just put the playhead on it. yes you can use slip edit ( with trim mode ) , but it's not accurate. in this method you can replace a clip with high accuracy. For example, if you have many shot from a scene, you can replace clip with this method and keep it sync with audio and other elements in timeline. Thanks for watching 🌹

@@M16-mini Thanks for your beautiful comment 🌹 actually I prefer to use my voice too, but recording audio and preparing it for a 15 min video take about 2 hours if record it with my voice. unfortunately I had no free time recently, also I try to upload video in this situation. my solution was using Ai to save about 2 hours per video, so I can upload a video per week. I'm trying to manage my life to have a time for my hobbies. thanks for your supports 🌹

When I try to edit a particular frame and I tell the program to track forward it messes all the video and not only the forward parts and also I don't know how to reverse the messed up part (pressing ctr+z does not work). Edit: Im on the free version btw.

@@maxielmalito Which version do you use? in very old versions , for example 16 and before it , tracker does not work properly in some cases . Try to select your desired area in different frame , maybe the frame that you used as reference frame does not have good condition. Frame must be sharp , with high contrast in edges , not blurry . It's better to work on a frame in somewhere middle of clip and use the special button to track forward and backward, instead of editing first frame . Hope your problem solved 🌹

@@masscreationbroadcasts You can only use one of the Inspector or Media pool tab if you want to use dual viewer mode. Also maybe you scale up the UI too much . try to reset UI setting through workspace tab , reset UI . it probably solve the problem . if not , try to shrink media pool , effect tab , inspector and ... tabs , then enable dual viewer . then you can enable the tabs you want .
