Please do a tutorial, I can import models from revit but it is so overwhelming to animate the imported geometries. I haven't been able to do it yet. You did something really great.

lol this is going to be a very heavy structure , can be collapsed if the quality of the ground is not carefully analysed and of course very expensive with such a huge amount of concrete...

Great model and animation. I was just wondering how you were able to make the mesh / geometry appear like that during the animation. I have looked online and I can't find the answers I'm looking for.

+vangelis mavronikolas Hi, thanks for your comment! To get these animations I followed a great tutorial from Louis Marcoux: "Reveal Techniques and Autodesk University in Las Vegas". Unfortunately it was posted back in 2009 and I'm afraid that the links are no longer working.

Good job! I use Revit, but, have not delved into the animation features of it yet. I also use Maya and dabble in 3DS. I might try a construction animation of my own some day. Keep up the good work!
@DaresBE
@DaresBE 9 жыл бұрын
+Darrell Barbery Hey Darrell, sorry for the late reply. Consider that animations in Revit are not as good as the ones you can get using 3ds. That's why i usually use Revit to build the model and 3ds to animate it. Anyway, I suppose you could use Revit animations as well under certain circumstances, especially during the first stages of a design where you might need to visualise your building without too much effort. Thanks for your comment!
