I built something similar and my wife was as excited as yours. But for me it works great providing remote indication of the capacitor position.

Is this from a plan? I am currently looking at a plan by Nigel Hawes. Do you have any incite you can share on the build and flight please? Great flight, you should be proud. Well done.

Hello, not seen the Nigel Hawes plan. All I can say is that the engine pod mounting ahs to be very strong, I made sort of "Y" section supports from carbon/ply laminate. The pod mount take lots of stress with the weight and mass of the motor in it.

Thanks for the reply, I am un-used to ducked fan tech, the wing span is 40 inch and fuz is 48 inch but I dont know yet what the all up weight is until i build it. Any advice would be most greatfull. Nick.@@BackwardTelevision

Nice work. The trouble comes when they want you to do a scale landing!

The plane project is very cool, but what's even better is having that group of friends to share it with. 👍😎👍

Awesome. This is on my bucket list of models to build too. Only way it could be better is if it had a real pulse jet in! 😎👌

Brilliant. I´m building a GU81m amp, and will be using motor control for the pi filter. I will hovewer have it remote / preset tuned, so will have an arduino doing the control.

This is a great interesting video. Much better than the boring "Helvellyn via Striding edge" shit that is on the web.

Thanks for that....Eric L was a small ish grey haired little old chap, I remember the time he'd just bought one of those Ducky ariels for his TX and was trying to jump as high as he could for a signal..........Have you anything from Simon Hardmans 28 lb Dakota PSS model roughly 1984 ish onwards really looked the business on the horizon or Neils Concord and the PSS or XC events would be really great. Cheers and many Thanks.

Hello, I do have more footage. Its on Betamax tapes. I have picked out this clip as containing the most people on rather than the models, in hindsight I would have videod the people flying more! I remember the name Eric Lord but just cant picture him.
