Wow glad a found this channel, you're stating good information... the thing that I think most people are worrying about is not if it's NDAA compliant... it's the price, most of the drones that you've named are cool, the problem is the consumers that have to buy these drones if they're at 20k for the drone, they're not realistic for the hobbyist type. $3400 is NOt affordable. so lemmeget this straight, T2pro thermal hunting usbc camera for a smartphone is $330, or $300 for even better xh03 both by infiray, and then you can get a drone or make one for liek a few hundred bucks or less actually even $50 or less actually. now you can add your $300 thermal camera to a drone. i think they have them made for drones but you can just use a usbc thermal t2pro camera meant for smartphones, connect tyo teh drone as it works as a webcam on any desktop or any device etc... you can tiotally make a thermal drone for $400 it should not be this much. its stupid. a regular drone from dji is down to $199, with camera. the thermal camera is only $300. so the thermal drone should not be any more than $500 it literally costs no more to add the thermal camera than it does to add the regular camera. literallky zero special requirements or anything... just warn the user not to fly in teh day or point at the sun.... you can use it in the day just not at the sun but these are for night time anyway. Honestly they should be using the t2pro and sending the signals back to the phone to use the xinfrared app to do motion trracking and im sure theers software for open source thermal and image tracking for surveillance etc. this stuff should be cheap. its like nightvision goggles that cost $220 while u can get drone goggles for $99 and a $99 infrared drone camera and plug them both into each other. Even the 3d printed ar15 inventor hoffman is building his own drones now

Cool you can read the brochure. Whats your real experience with it like? Because im definitely not getting 41min of flight time with mine. And the remote battery only last just a hair longer than the 3 batteries my drone came with.

Good overview! I've had my 640T for a couple of weeks now. I have posted a few videos on my channel. It's a good drone, but not great. After flying DJI Mavic 3 Pro and Air 3, it's really easy to notice the lack of polish, and in some circumstances, software and hardware issues. Initially, I had an extremely difficult time registering the drone via the controller. It kept failing to register. I had to try about 20-30 times before it took. I installed an SD Card in the remote (the drone already had one installed) and the next registration attempt worked. Not sure if there is a direct correlation there, but I'll just leave you with the data. Additionally and most concerning, the drone drifts from time to time. It also will seemingly correct the drift by turning the nose of the craft into the direction of the drift and then do a kind of shrug to reset. It's really odd. I've calibrated multiple times and done all that you would expect one would have to do to get the drone set up and running correctly. My major concern with the drift is if I'm flying near objects that I don't want to collide with. The drift and autonomous nose turn into the drift (possibly correcting itself) happen regardless of whether I'm controlling the drone or if my hands are off the remote controller...and No, it's not wind causing the issue. I've flown in near 0-Wind conditions and have had this happen. Wind shouldn't cause any recently manufactured drone to drift either. None of my DJI drone ever drifted at all. If they can get this fixed, I'll be a lot happier with the unit. One last thing, at this time, there are no filters that fit the lens. You're stuck with the image quality you have regardless of lighting conditions...for now, anyways.

Overly redundant. Uses too many cheap visible spectrum color cameras. What it needs it full spectrum, the already existing visible, the already existing infrared, and add a UV camera if you want extra and ditch the color nonsense. Only 3 cams and it’s all that’s needed to check vegetation health. And also a view mode that simulates aerochrome instead would be nice. Kolari Vision already makes something like this.

Good review! The EVO Lite only supports the Autel Sky app, and not the Autel Explorer app (used by the EVO II and similar), so keep that in mind if you foresee the need for mission planning and more advanced features. Keep up the good work!

Is there any reason this drone wouldn't be good for solar field or transmission line inspections? The advertising from Autel only really mentions public safety applications.

so many more things to cover to get a good comparison. Flight time, rain, wind resistance, warrantee, controller/screen quality transmission distance. This video didn't do enough to give a good idea on what to buy.

Bought mine 11/5/24 and got it pretty fast. I had an issue with it showing my location in China and wanting registration there. Also my video feed would at time be black then I'd reboot the control and good again. I bought on Ebay from autelrobotics-us with a heavy discount for what thats worth. Anyhow went back and forth with their engineers. The black screen went away but the controller location in China persisted. I fly with no internet connection so that was a pain. Finally a week ago they sent me a message how to update the firmware. The controller so far witll not do it on it's own same with drone. I'll try postine the procedure as it cured the problem.

I have just purchased one of these JZT30 lights but I seem to have an issue. My M3T firmware is UTD and the JZT30 light is registered and activated. Everything seems to work fine except for one thing. When I power of the M3T the lights park with the lenses down instead of horizontal. The only way I can get them to park horizontally is to power the M3T off, then power on and then power off again before the PSDK icon appears on screen. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong?

In my opinion, there are not much that motivates a price way over 10k usd. I made my own thermal drone with a 400 usd thermal camera and a dji mini 4, total cost about 1200 usd. I feel like they have theese prices just beccause they can, its like the jet surv boards that are really not that complicated to build but still costs 8k usd while some random dude built his own for a few hundred usd. Why isnt the mavic 3t on this lit? I thought it was one of the best thermal drones.

I noticed that the batteries deplete themselves to 45 percent over the period of about 5 days to a week. How do you keep batteries at 100 percent so that you have enough flight time? It makes no sense in an emergency situation to not be able to have batteries at 100 percent at all times to be prepared.
