my visor and anchors on both sides just ripped off on the highway - replacement parts are on back order and I can't source them from anywhere else. simpson sucks in 2024.

I lost one of my helmet anchors the first time I used my brand new helmet (not sure how, may have been my fault) but I ordered a replacement pair back in April, they were out of stock and said they would not be able to ship them until 6/27/24. so I just checked their web site today and now the ship date is moved back until 7/22/24. either this is a POS design, or other people must really like to order the Mod Bandit shield anchors, because they have been sold out for 2 months and will still be another month before the chance that they do not extend the ship date again. Bout ready to throw this FN paper weight in the trash and just get any other brand helmet than simpson.

Shame it’s made in china. I should have researched it before buying the carbon version. I would have looked elsewhere.

When I got my helmet, I found the sliders to open and close the vents were loose and wouldn’t lock into place, which meant the vents wouldn’t stay open and closed by themselves while riding. Also both sliders broke off after a week or so and I had to put screws in to open or close the vents. Nice looking helmet but pretty cheap and nasty build quality for the price you pay.

My question is why my $500 mod bandit doesn't come with antifog and 2 shields? This is a serious question! I really like my helmet but was extremely disappointed with it once I was on the freeway in Seattle Wa. and my shield fogged so much in five seconds I cannot even see through it and had ride with it cracked for my two hour ride the first time I rode with it.... come on man $500 is pricey for a helmet! I was between three helmet but really wanted the look of the mod bandit sucks to find out the other had antifog and where $200 cheaper... ya'll need to fix that

Received my Venom (as the Ghost is called here in the UK) in the post (or mail as you call it) yesterday, found your video and tried to follow it step by step to take my visor off and put it back on. Well fuck me, it was a right bastard. Was nothing like as easy as you made it look and it felt as if it would snap the more I wrestled with it to remove it. Why the fuck have they used such a difficult and fiddly system to remove and refit a damn visor?

Just got a new ghost bandit, and I noticed the bottom edge doesn’t seal all the way. Am I missing something? Can it be adjusted? I will be catching rain and more wind.
