These two smell almost identical save for one note. Coconut for Bubble Bath and Roses for Lazy Sunday Morning. Bubble Bath is a fresh out of shower scent while Lazy Sunday Morning is fresh laundry. Both give off effortless aura which I love! ❤️

Interesting - I thought pink paradise was duping cheirosa 68. So many brands are trying to dupe this magical musk, but I think that it’s easy to to tell the different when taking overall performance into consideration!

One day, my daughter used "You're The One" body cream and spray, and I used Lancome's Idol. We went to the Starbucks drive-thru, and we received three compliments! Throughout the day, we continued to receive compliments. No one told my daughter or myself, "You smell good." Instead, they'd say, "You gals/both smell so good!" Later, when we returned home, my husband commented, "You and (our daughter) smell good! What are you wearing?" I replied, "We're both using two different scents." Surprisingly, he said, "Well, you fooled me because you both smell the same!" I immediately made a side-by-side comparison, and indeed, the scents seemed identical! I shared this story around two years ago with another KZbinr, and later, she made a video about "cheap body sprays that smell like expensive perfume." Since then, I've seen it crop up repeatedly - "You're The One" and Idol smells identical. Layering "You're The One" body cream and fine fragrance mist with Idol, Idol Aura, or Idol Nectar results in a fantastic scent lasting 8+ hours!

Oh wow! They’re very different from each other. Gingham is super light, watery and fresh with notes of freesia and melon while Luminous is pretty rich and heavier, with amber as the predominant note 🙂

I’m a guy and whilst both are more feminine leaning Ive used both as signature scents and get compliments from them also 🙂 That being said I use Bubble Bath much more , the main factor being that the performance and silage is above average for the scent profile. Most soapy/florals have meh performance yet with Bubble Bath I easily get 7-8 hours and dare I say it actually outperforms a lot of darker scents as well. So for that reason I vote Bubble Bath 👍

I bought a small box of travel sprays of three Replica fragrances, Bubble bath, Beach Walk, and When the Rain Stops. Beach Walk is the only one to last on me. Bubble bath seems to be a weak fragrance, I’ll have to check out Lazy Sunday Morning.

@@conscentsus fortunately Alexandria Fragrances makes California Blues and Montagne makes Brooklyn Jazz which are excellent inspired-by fragrances in extrait and EDP respectively which have excellent performance and are pretty spot on.

Update: I sprayed You're the One on my clothes and I still smell it the next day. I also layered this spray with 🍓Strawberry Poundcake🍰 and it smalls amazing mixed together.

I mean, you could wear it in winter but the summer’s heat will help it “bloom” and project from the skin a bit better. Given it’s “freshie” nature, you’ll get the best performance in the warm weather months 🙂

Neither of these fragrances sound appealing to me. I absolutely love Jazz Club. I did try Bt the Fireplace, and although the initial smokiness dies down, I much preferred Jazz Club. I'm curious about Coffee Break, and some of the other lines as I use Ralph Lauren's Ralphs Club, and Chanel Allure Homme Sport Extreme as my daily office scents.

Three of the 4 were supposed to be delivered today...it said that it was loaded on the truck for delivery...but UPS never showed up. I ordered a 10 ml bottle of Vanilla (it seemed like the safe bet), and sample sizes of Rose and Tobacco. No Cafe was available in small sizes. I did get samples of Christian Dior "Oud Ispahan" and "Oud Rosewood". I cleared out the pump and am letting them sit and macerate. Something "green" is in Oud Ispahan. I think it's Patchouli, and I sure hope it mellows. I think I can wear the Oud Rosewood. It will be interesting to compare with the Kayali Rose Oud.

Delivery delay - the worst! I personally don’t think you’re missing anything re: Cafe. Would love to know your thoughts on Vanilla and Rose. Those were definitely the standouts for me 🙂

Interesting. I really want to get my nose on this. A fragrance that really smells like expensive baby powder to me is Esprit D’Oscar. I find it very comforting and wear it in the evening after a bath.

Oooh, now I’m intrigued to try that one. I wonder if it’s more a freshie vs. a gourmand. Interestingly, it was co-developed by Ann Gottlieb, who went on to consult on fragrance for many mass market laundry brands. I bet she’s an expert on powdery accords!

That makes sense - Luminous is such a huge fragrance. Have they tried BBW You’re the One? Might be more their speed. Youthful and a powerhouse performer. Perfume-like, but definitely more youthful vs. Luminous! You’re the One will be my next review. Stay tuned 🙂

OMG - can I tell you that I just tried Hypnotic Poison and I loved it! Really different experience. I want to do a review on that one now and maybe even a comparison side by side review with MMMM…. They are so similar but produce such a different effect! Hypnotic Poison has such soul and presence!

Great review! Kayali has launched so many new fragrances lately, and all of them seem tempting! I only own Vanilla 28, which I really enjoy. But could I live without it? Of course! I have a large collection of perfumes and it all becomes redundant in the end. Your videos are the best ones for me because you don't hype fragrances like all the other Utubers, you "explain" them. I got on hype trains a few times, and omg, did I spend money for bad scents! Especially in the Niche and the Indi range. Fragrances are so expensive, and money is hard to earn. When more people will discover your channel, they won't buy blindly so often (guilty here) This is a really expensive addiction. Keep the good work, I'm eager to hear about fragrances! 😊😊😊

Isabelle - thank you! No one needs to own hundreds of fragrances. This channel, and thinking about its content, has been eye opening for me. Evaluating and reviewing fragrances helps me think through what I really want to purchase. And it’s so much less that I would have originally thought 🙂

I finally got around to evaluating NR Pure Musc - totally agree with your assessment. I found Pure Musc to be really similar to Lazy Sunday Morning, which I find a bit too boring for my tastes. “Not a Perfume” is more woody - definitely a different DNA, which I enjoy so much more than white floral musks!

Hi there! I don't own any perfume of this house, but Not a perfume has always picked my curiosity! This "skin but better" scent, does it compare to Narciso Rodriguez Pure musc? I was so disappointed in this one, it's very sharp and floral. I thought I would get straight up musc. By the way, I want to apologize for my English, I'm French from Québec and sometimes it's hard for me to find the right words. 😊

Your English is great! I need to smell Narciso Rodriguez again and let you know but I think that Not a Perfume will not be so floral because it’s composed of one single “molecule” raw material (ambroxan), which tends to lean powdery, musky, amber-y or woody. It does react differently to individual skin and musk is a tricky profile where many are anosmic/nose blind. Full review on this to follow. But I’ll also smell NR Pure Musc and give you a more “educated” opinion!
