How are both options for water resistance? Alu-Cab states that their material is water and mildew resistant. I like the fact that Clevershade is so much lighter, but couldn’t see any information about water treatment.

Good question! The Ultra-Lite uses highly water repellent acrylic canvas and, while it can't be described as completely waterproof, it will repel heavy rain. However, like a tent canvas, if you were to touch it from the inside, some moisture will pass through. We've tested it in some quite terrible British weather though and it's been absolutely fantastic to sit underneath and stay dry. In comparison, the Deluxe canvas has a wax coating that is waterproof as the wax layer prevents any penetration. Both materials have been specifically designed for outdoor use and are mould and mildew resistant, although just like a tent, if you need to pack it away wet, it is recommended to open and give it some time to dry when conditions allow. Due to the black colour and nature of the materials, they tend to dry out very quickly, in a matter of minutes when opened in the sun. I hope that helps!

I had O.Z Super Turismo 17" rims on my P10 with Goodyear Eagle F1 tires, 1995 Black SRi 2.0 saloon, was my favorite car ever, hence my username obviously 😁
