I have just de-glazed the discs and pads and cleaned them up making sure they are all in good working order. The calipers were already painted when I got it

Starting from just over 2000 rpm the whistling is heard and is particularly loud with the windows open. Yes plenty of whistling and whooshing

Because I found some top tips on youtube !

Most of it was treated and painted in situ. at the rear end with the exception of the harmonic balance weight and the headlight level mechanism.

Thanks Andy. Yes I find that getting another one, bumper, wheel etc. allows time to do a good job and not be hurried, then you can do whatever with the extra. Thanks for your comments

Not step by step, but there's not much to it. Cleanliness is most important, stuff paper into ports to prevent dirt entering, clean off mating surfaces, hand tighten all bolts first, then nip up the innermost one's not too tight then work out to cyl.3 then cyl.2 then 4 then 1 repeat a little tighter each time don,t exceed 20nm as in alloy. There are other KZbin vids showing vacuum pipes. Hope this helps

Hi there's definitely some triride tips for sure. I am Windy Wendy (aka Rachel) who's in the video and sounding a bit unsure about the gradients on which one has to be travelling because I have an eyesight issue that makes the judgement of distance and gradient very difficult. Here are my top tips for you. 1. Keep your body weight over the front drive wheel not over your wheelchair self propulsion wheels and take hills at approx. speed 2 or 3 setting. Take hills quickly and don't be tempted to stop part way up. It is a job best done in a oner and at speed leaning forward. 2. If you want to avoid chewing the ground as I once did then make sure that you don't turn sharp corners at speed. The whole kit a kibbuddle fell on me and I was on the ground wondering what the grit in my mouth represented. The dentist had to restructure my two front teeth. Admittedly it was a very VERY cold winter day. My hands were blue and I hadn't much vavavoom. 3. How splayed out are your wheelchair push wheels? The width of the Wheelchair makes it more (or less) stable. Mine is a set up for being indoors so is very unstable at the speeds I have used... OOOOPS!!!
