Thank you for the video! Nice to see what our site will look like! Can you tell me if you had phone reception while you were there?

Yes we did, as it’s right on top of a hill. Was even good enough to do emails on a laptop. Pre Starlink days. Hope you enjoy it.

I watch these videos to (SEE THE CAMP GROUND) not watch you cook or look at your set up, or even worse listed to you waffle on.

Picked up where you left off. Great video! We will be travelling to Parklands, just outside Kenilworth, in the middle of October. Will be camping there for a week. The area is such a beautiful part of Queensland. Can't wait!
@Campfiretravellers9 күн бұрын
Thanks mate. Sorry for the delayed response. Let me know how you go with the mid-October camping. We're always on the lookout for somewhere new. Our other favourite in the area is Bluff Creek. Much bigger but has the advantage of access to the river, and also their new lake/pond. Cheers.

So we as a family of 5 children are 11,9 and 7 ended up with a gen 1 x3 due to the kids bed. Can I suggest using the Patriots square bags for storing clothes and store them on the seat. Our kids get away with swags most nights but in a particular downfall they all did sleep with us and all fit just keep that in mind for grandchildren

Thanks for the tip on the square bags. We got a few and also use them for food in the rear drawer. Easy to pack at home and fit into the drawer and access. Great to hear from some fellow campers. Keep up the good work.

Fantastic video guys! We love your presentation style. It is so natural and unscripted which makes for great viewing. There are some good camping areas around Kenilworth. We stayed at Parklands Campgrounds as it has nice views and easy access to the Mary River.

Is this the one you can see on the other side of the river from Bluff Creek? Haven't been to that one yet. Keen to try it out.

Of course having a sink is camping, though a camper trailer is more glamping, it's still under canvas and that's the main thing.
@inspirationalpursuit1133 ай бұрын
Great video, guys. Always exciting to find out how things open and shut on new vehicles. It looks great ! Our old soft floor camper had a sink, as does our new Stockman Rover. If you're out in the great outdoors, it doesn't matter what gear you have, it's camping. Enjoy!😉

You two are great fun to watch. A couple together after years, quite nice :) Congrats on the X3. Ignore the many haters, jealousy is rampant for those that simply can't afford, or not see value in quality. I have a Crusader X-country because I travel full time (so less camping, more full time home), but secretly would love an X3. So tempted to go in between what you have and I have, a Conqeuor UEV-490 or UEV-14. Did you check them out? UEV 440, 490 and 14? So rugged and manly. A man's wet dream. lol. Although far less like camping compared to the X3. And yes, having a sink makes it glamping 😂 Swag on the frozen ground hating your life getting bitten alive is camping.

Have you tested it in the rain yet? I'm curious if you get much water pooling on the fly of the main tent.
@Campfiretravellers3 ай бұрын
Not yet but there is a flap between the tent and awning. Should be ok.
