With the massively negative reception Chasca recieved for her Model, Lore & Gameplay, I doubt that. HoYo is gonna go back to the Anemo Character does Anemo Dmg, this concept is probably dying with Chasca. I love her though, my favorite Natlan Character so far❤

I got her will trying for Ororon. After a sea of Sucroses, Barbaras, and two Chascas. I got a single Ororon. I guess Aventurine was right. All or nothing. I don't really mind Chasca's playstyle is pretty much the same as Nuev, minus the spin to win and the need to rehold the atk button. Just wish her bullets were less RNG. She feels like an elemental Eula. You reset for more reactions instead of crit. My biggest issue with her right now, is that I refuse to remove Furina from Nuev's team.

I'd say that depending on the stats you get from obsidian codex, skyward harp can be an amazing stat stick, gives good atk, gives CRate so you can easily get 100 CRate. And if you were unlucky/lucky to have a high refinement skyward harp, it also gives really good CDmg

Regardless of my preferences and dislike of some design choices (the pants and gun man, I can't! As I shared on your other video, her animations are really nice though, she looks smooth~), I will say she does look fun! I like Genshin innovating and making unique teams and techniques so do welcome new concepts and team utilities! I just wish I liked Natlan's designs more but I suppose I'll just get to keep saving - ideally for Capitano, Hoyo please don't fail me now!

As a console player, I pulled Lyney for the challenge and don't regret a single bit. ( Also got his cons after each of his banner lmao, at c3 now cause double).

People are sleeping on putting Layla, shenhe and diona on her teams. They have good synergy with her overall. Maybe not the most meta but melt chasca do well enough to run content with these less used teammates.

actually i have to disagree on your point that her not being able to use fischl + the other big 4 stars is a bad thing. I pulled for her as a 1.0 player because I can FINALLY build other characters like mona, layla, etc and still do decent damage without losing out on anything. Almost every dps in the game wants the same 5 supports and it feels refreshing to be able to use someone else and it not be worthless. hell, she even made cryo playable again and for that I am very pleased with her character. I miss when reactions other than hyper bloom, vape, and pyro/hydro based reactions were worth it to play, and she does exactly that for me.

You can’t build Chasca better if you don’t pull for her in the first place.

Chasca reminds of yunli in HSR the most worth it pull for newer players who dont have fleshed out accounts. Thats not to say she isnt worth it for end game players but she def is more forgiving for newer players.

I've said it before, but I think if Citlali is a forward melt enabler that also buffs the team surrounding the melt reaction, I think Cryo could be saved. Bc then if she is a melt-based buffer (tho tbh idk how that would work) she would even help out units like Wrio and other reverse-melters while also sticking to the theme of utilizing pyro like the other Natlan characters have.

Well if they focus on strenghning anemo infusion in the future, it will also make kazuha c6 infusion to be a decent dps. I dont have a c6 kazuha but many would love to have a decent electro infused kazuha just for nostalgic reason of two vision, him and his deceased friend.

I was planning on skipping her to save for mavuika because I had shelled out to get c2r1 nahida and wanted to give myself some time to recover…but goodness does she feel so fun to play. I love my wanderer dearly but he cannot fly downwards after taking off, and when I realized how genuinely smoothly chasca flies through the air I had to get her if for nothing else than for using in Natlan exploration. Her fighting style also feels almost brain dead easy since she doesn’t need the elements to be on the field in order to get her infusion, she just needs teammates that use those elements. People are saying her infusions and the reactions they cause are inconsistent (and to be fair it is rng how they load and therefore react with one another) but you don’t have to go through a whole setup to get the infusions they’re just guaranteed. They had to add the rng because otherwise her infusion mechanics would be game breaking, but beyond that she is so consistent as an infusion anemo dps. If they had done anything less I wouldn’t have pulled for her but because she works with or without set up she’s just fun. Also the little whistle to get on and off her mount is delightful and immediately reframed her aesthetic from weird slightly conquistador angle to a Wild West cowboy who rides a gun like a buckin bronco and that’s just fun

I want to pull for her, however it seems she relies on Furina, Which i don't have. That coupled with mavuika's release next patch puts her in a tough spot for me.

I feel like Chasca is designed in a way that she can utilize "weak" or outdated characters. Barely anyone uses Barbara and no one gives a fuck about Amber but Chasca can somewhat uses their abilities - throw bunny to distract enemies, wear water ring to get some healing and you're good to go Plus, with her ability to fly high, the O'Driscoll won't know what hit them

Any new mechanics are welcome. That keeps the game fresh! I do hope this continues to be a region of change and innovation.
