My high school band performed this. We did all of movement one, scratched movement two, and heavily modified movement 3. We won many competitions and got rating 1 in Texas 5A. That was 15 years ago... I used to watch this exact video 15 years ago to learn my part on marching snare. Thank you

Junior year we played this and pulled an excellent at state 2 points off from a superior,I'm still pissed about it,but this was so fun to play,we played journey of man my senior year and pulled a clean sweep,I graduated last year and I still want redemption for this frickin music

I found this back in 2009 when I made the drumline and this was going to be our show. Listened to this and practiced all summer to get ready, Although they got rid of second movement and heavily modified the 3rd, it was still a gem of a piece and placed 1st at 3 USSBA competitions. Best band year ever for my high school.
