If they fit the full Jeju island in S2, they're going to be cutting significant corners. Jeju alone is easily worth 6-7 episodes. There are a *lot* of action panels in the manhwa. They'd have to cut Jeju itself, as well as rush a bunch of other stuff. Waking up his mom and then having a couple episodes after that to introduce the Jeju Island arc would be a good ending spot, making S3 mostly about Jeju Island. The S2 intro only shows the JP S-rankers pulling up to Jeju, which is precisely where I think S2 will cut.

Okay the solo leveling movie showed the first 2 chapters of the anime and, both of them adapted 5 chapters each. So going by that pace I think 13 episodes will adapt the jeju island and even tease the previous shadow monarch.

I think that they will mostly cut out as many horse riding scenes as possible, obviously, but despite that they will make a decent adaptation, as always.
